ARCHITECTURE 101: part 1

The objective of these homeworks was to learn to find things without meaning inside a world where we take everything for granted. Crumpled paper can become a new world, an eye can hold an universe, and even silence can take form.

During this week we learned to draw using not only our eyes, but our senses.

I discovered that I drew vey differently depending on the things I was focusing on or if I was drawing purely from memory.

My favorite exercise was the first one, where we drew a face upside down.

Diagrams are useful to order and classify our thoughts. This week we had to map our minds, our body, our place and how they were related.

It made me think about how my surroundings affected my feelings and how my actions affected my surroundind.
