Erosion protection and embankment works are planned for Little Leigh Bridge on Rectory Lane, Little Leighs.
A full time, temporary road closure will be in place from Monday 5 February until end March 2018. This will allow the safe movement of machinery and equipment and provide workforce protection.

An alternative route will be available via Rectory Lane, Whites Lane, Felstead Road, Littley Green Road, Church Lane and vice versa.
Please note that dates may be subject to change, for example if the works are completed earlier than planned, or later if affected by poor weather conditions or if unforeseen issues arise.
We aim to keep residents informed of progress via on site signage and by providing updates on the Little Leighs Bridge webpage www.essex.gov.uk/otherschemes.
