A TRIBUTE “The Hugger”

As I attended my daughter’s graduation, I began to realize that one teacher seemed very affectionate with the students. I call her “the hugger.”

“Wow, I remember this kid, I must block his way and get a hug!”

“That pain medication is making me feel very affectionate…I love these kids!”

“He tried to pat my back, but I said, ‘no, you must hug me to pass.’”

“I’ll miss you all so much!”

“You’re such a special girl, what’s your name again?”

“Oooops, guess he didn’t remember me from that one day when I walked by his classroom two years ago…no worries, I’ll hug the next one…”

“Here, that’s better.”

“Oh, are we holding up the line?”

“I’m back on track, getting that full body hug on!”

Student: Okay okay let go now

Student: I don’t know you lady, but okay, I just graduated, and I’m happy!
