 I became an engineer because I liked math & science and wanted to help solve problems  I studied engineering at Florida State University and University of Illinois  My PhD research focused on how different nuclear reactors affect cost, waste and safety in the fuel cycle  Currently I use my nuclear engineering knowledge to make the world safer  I analyze nuclear equipment, technology to make sure they aren’t used in unsafe ways
