As you approach Queensland Raceway at the end of Champions Way continue straight ahead onto the dirt road which will lead you to Gate 3 – Pit Entrance and Entrant Accreditation. At the accreditation marquee a Burnout Allstars official will produce your paperwork where you will need to sign an indemnity disclaimer. Follow the official’s directions into the pit area where you can unload your car and put it in its allocated pit bay as assigned to you as a part of the “First to Enter – Last to Compete” criteria. Our scrutineers will check your vehicle at your pit bay.

All entrants are required to be inside Queensland Raceway no later than 1PM

Due to an extremely small pit area, we will be advising entrants of a preferred arrival time to allow for easy access into your allocated pit bay. Where you park is determined by when you enter and unfortunately you may not get to park beside friends or team mates due to the pit area being laid out in order to compete (see Pit/Parking Bay - below)

Once your vehicle is unloaded your TOW CAR & TRAILER MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE PITS IMMEDIATELY into the designated “Tow Vehicle Parking Area” – Follow the signs (see Venue & Pit Area Maps – pg7).

3. When You Get To ALLSTARS

5. Drivers Briefing

A numbered “Pit Bay” will be allocated and your vehicle must only be parked in your designated bay. The pit bay number will match your entrant number and ultimately the number in which you will compete. No other vehicles are permitted to be parked in your bay (all tow vehicles and trailers must be removed to the designated “tow vehicle parking area”). You can store your spare tyres and rims, trolley jacks and required equipment within this parking bay area. Vehicle marquees are permitted however they must not infringe on your fellow competitors parking bays.

* PIT SPACE IS EXTREMELY LIMITED and officials will be enforcing the removal of support vehicles and trailers *

4. Pit / Parking Bay

All Entrants & Passengers MUST ATTEND a mandatory “Drivers Briefing” in the centre of the burnout pad at 3pm sharp. We can’t stress how important it is that all entrants attend so everybody understands how the show will work. Remember, it’s not just a burnout comp, it’s a show so we need everyone to know what is required of them so it can be presented as such.

All entrants are required to attend the Drivers Briefing at 3PM sharp on the Burnout Pad

6. Buddy Passes

Family and friends can pre-purchase their tickets online at www.burnoutallstars.com/tickets or at the Accreditation Marquee (Gate 3) for $50. Buddy Passes can only be issued if the entrant is with their buddy at accreditation. Buddies will be required to purchase or present their pre-purchased ticket and sign an indemnity disclaimer. Buddy Pass holders will be allowed to access the pit area, general grandstand seating and ride as a passenger in your vehicle during your burnout. If you pre-purchase your ticket/s remember to print them out and bring ID with you.

You are permitted to carry passengers during your burnout however the following rules apply:

- All passengers must have a buddy pass armband and have signed an indemnity disclaimer. - All passengers must be restrained by a seat belt during the burnout. - All passengers must have the equivalent safety equipment to the driver which includes a DOT Approved Helmet, Long

sleeves, long pants and enclosed shoes. - All passengers must remain in their seat at all times during the burnout

(If passengers hang out the window this will affect your score – Arm pumps are fine but passenger’s torsos must remain within the car)

The number of passengers you are permitted to carry depends on your vehicle type:

BURNOUT ALLSTARS has Three (3) Burnout Masters Golden Tickets to present to the highest scoring cars (2 Blown and 1 Naturally Aspirated) providing a great opportunity for those wanting to secure themselves a spot in the National Burnout Masters at Summernats 31 (4 - 7 Jan 2018). In the case where the highest scoring car already has a ticket, it will be passed down to the car finishing in the position below them.

Burnout Masters TV will also be recording one of their legendary TV Shows that is aired on 7Mate. We’re extremely lucky to have Burnout Masters invest the many thousands of dollars it takes to make these shows and put them on a quality free to air station. Many other sports like Drag Racing and Superbikes rely on their entrants & racers to pay additional fees to fund their TV packages which end up on SBS or Foxtel where you have to pay again to watch it.

- All Burnout vehicles must pass the vehicle safety requirements of scrutineering.

- Tyre Squirters ARE NOT permitted. If you are found to be in breach of this rule, Disqualification will apply.

- Seat Belts must be worn at all times by drivers and passengers.

- All entrants must have a 0.00 (zero) blood alcohol limit and drivers will be tested randomly during the show.

- Minimum 60 second time limit applies but you can go for as long as your tyres permit.

- Three (3) BURNOUT ALLSTARS judges will use the following criteria to score your Burnout: Instant Smoke /10 Constant Smoke /20 Volume of Smoke /20 Driving Skill /40 Tyres (5 points each) /10

Subtract (in each instance)

Reversing -5 Stopping or Stalling -5 Contact Barrier -5 Small Fire -5 Failure to drive off pad -10 Large Fire (judging ends) -10

TOTAL /100

- LIVE SCORING – After each burnout is completed, entrant’s score will appear on the Giant Screens & be announced over the PA.

- FIRES - Large fires will result in your judging ending and 10 points will be subtracted from your score up until that point. Where possible, drivers can finish off their tyres but no points will be applied to your score. If a vehicle produces a small tyre fire that self-extinguishes, entrants will still receive a score with a loss of 5 points (in each instance) from your overall score.

IF YOU HAVE A MAJOR FIRE… STOP THE VEHICLE, TURN OFF THE IGNITION & FUEL PUMPS. PULL THE BONNET RELEASE AND MOVE AWAY FROM THE VEHICLE IMMEDIATELY. The experienced BURNOUT ALLSTARS Fire Marshals will extinguish the fire.

- Entrants MUST obey all directions given by BURNOUT ALLSTARS Officials/Marshals.

- Entrants MUST stop in the “Fire Checkpoint” after each burnout so officials can check the vehicle for fires.

START LINE LIGHTS BURNOUT ALLSTARS uses a ‘cross over gantry lighting system’ above the start line to instruct drivers when they can begin their burnout. A burnout must not start until the overhead lights turn from red to green.

Red Lights Above – Sit at idle on the start line under the lighting gantry (DO NOT START) Green Lights Above – Smash the throttle and enjoy the ride Pulsing Red Lights – If all the lights around the stadium pulse up and down, STOP immediately as there’s a major problem.

- AS SOON AS YOUR CAR HAS BLOWN BOTH TYRES – STOP IMMEDIATELY – RIM RIDING / BASHING IS NOT PERMITTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AT QLD RACEWAY DUE TO THE PAD BEING ASPHALT. YOU CAN BANG BOTH TYRES BUT IF YOU RIM RIDE YOU WILL BE INSTANTLY DISQUALIFIED AND MAY FACE REPAIR COSTS!! PLEASE IDLE FROM THE PAD.

- BURNOUT ALLSTARS judge’s decision is FINAL.

ONE (1) Burnout per car and the highest scoring TWENTY (20) cars will progress through to a TOP 20 ALLSTARS FINAL

For the opening of BURNOUT ALLSTARS we will require all burnout vehicles to be parked inside the arena, back to back facing out towards the crowds. We ask that Drivers stand next to the front of their vehicles while the Australian National Anthem is sung live. Immediately following the anthem we will go to an opening video package on the giant screens. The video will run for approx 5 mins and at the end of it we will direct each driver to fire up and drive (in your order) back to your designated parking bay in the pits.

NO SKIDS ARE TO BE DONE AT THIS TIME although we do encourage you to “rev it up” as you make your way out of the arena. Once all vehicles are out of the arena we will start the show with the first competitor or “last person to enter”.
