MOTION MEDIA PRODUCTION AND GRAPHIC DESIGN

Establish myself as an innovative and accomplished motion media producer and graphic designer. My interests and passions include (but are not limited to) art direction, market research, concepting, storyboarding, and client relationships. Whether I am concepting with a team, pitching an idea, or working directly with clients, my leadership, organization, and communication skills are assets that set me above the rest. My field is motion media, but above all, I strive to be a creative professional.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

REVENUE BEAST, Cleveland, Ohio • June 2011-presentRevenue Beast unleashes simple, powerful methods to find recurring revenue fast for clients, ranging from small start-ups to large multi-million dollar corporations in a wide range of industries. Unique revenue accelerators include powerful, market-capturing brands and immensely effective referral based marketing systems, as well as strategic talent grabs and employee training.

Motion Graphics Designer and Project ManagerDesigned and implemented numerous visual concepts and copy in order to enhance and strengthen the brand and business objectives of clients ranging from SEOs, Product Manufacturing, and Financial Services. Worked with quick turn arounds while maintaining quality and efficiency. Maintained client relationships, project scheduling, execution strategies, and complex problem solving.

Specific Accomplishments• My first week at Revenue Beast, our client, Pursuit Dynamics, was

preparing to launch their reinvented brand in the U.S. at the Fuel Ethanol Workshop and Expo. Our team developed a new engaging identity for their products and I created an email blast, posters, handouts, signs, a motion graphic and slideshow for the booth, as well as a splash page with motion graphics attached to a QR code on all of their giveaways. The trade show was a great success and PDX immediately received a surge of new clients.

• While another client, DDR, was approaching their exciting re-brand launch, I was instrumental in the implementation of a number of designs including a number of ‘Welcome” motion graphics for the lobby, copy and layout for large banners on display at the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, as well as contributing to the content and layout of magazine ads.

• Completed many other design projects including: business cards, website layouts, presentations, and much more.

• Also participated in the beginning steps of the company’s executive talent search firm, Jeff Christian & Company, for initial candidate contacting and continued administrative duties throughout the interview process.

CYRID MEDIA, Cleveland, Ohio • July-September 2010Cyrid Media is a full service advertising agency and production studio located just east of downtown Cleveland, Ohio. Providing branding services including logo development, on-air design, and promotional campaigns for Major League Baseball teams, regional banks, local car dealers, and television stations, Cyrid Media offers a wide array of services to Cleveland’s business community.

Motion Graphics and Editor Intern/Production Assistant (Cyrid Media)Head Production Assistant onset while filming commercial campaigns. Post production logging, capturing, and editing raw footage. Then creating and compositing original on-air graphics. Working closely with lead directors and clients while providing my own creative insight.

Specific Accomplishments• Innovative concepts that transforms yet support longterm client brands.• Designed and animated graphics to be used weekly in Fred Martin’s 30 minute promotional show, Car Connection.• Quickly adapted to unforeseen challenges on set while filming commercials. Including weather,

technical issues, and changes to script.• Exceed expectations to simply observe by volunteering and quickly becoming involved.

POINT A SHOWCASE, Savannah, Georgia • 2010Motion Media’s Senior Studio class decided to take their final projects and showcase them to the entire campus. With a wide variety of work, from PSA’s to music videos, and even a modern color organ, the event needed an all-encompassing umbrella to represent the unity of the students and also emphasize the unique projects created by these individuals.

Creative Director and Head ProducerCreative director and head of production for entire show branding and event exhibit. First created a suitable name and visual concept that represents the ending of our formal education but the beginning of our careers i.e. Point A. Then directed a team of 5 designers throughout the production phase: including shooting against greenscreen, compositing, and motion graphics. The campaign involved print, animated screenwashes, opening titles, and individual title cards for each designer in the show. My personal responsibilities also included finding the venue and managing all aspects of the literal event planning.

Specific Accomplishments• Went from brainstorming to final product within 2 weeks. • Pitched the concept to the senior class and formed a reliable team.• Arranged show with over 20 different key people including venue owner, sound crew, and visual• Also emceed the entire event the night of the show.

COMOTION CONFERENCE 2010 and 2011, Savannah, Georgia • 2010 and 2011CoMotion 2010 and 2011 were created by the students for the students. CoMotion promoted the conceptual progression of collaboration amongst various disciplines of design through students, faculty and industry professional interaction. Through two days of portfolio reviews, contests/showcases, and networking, CoMotion allowed the students to portray themselves as professional designers outside of the classroom. This was more than an event, more than a venue for design. CoMotion was an experience.

Creative Director, Head Producer, and Event PlannerCreative Director and Producer alongside 1 other student, for this large-scale event was no easy task. Responsibilities included but were not limited to, scheduling and organizing the entirety of the Portfolio Review portion of CoMotion for over 15 companies and 50 students, successfully communicated and delegated to teams of over 20 people on numerous occasions, personally catered to the keynote speakers’ needs, Above all kept everyone enthusiastic and calm while encouraging the team to enjoy the experience.

Specific Accomplishments• Catered to the specific interests of attending Industry Professionals, such as design studio

Psyop, ESPN, and The Mill. • Scheduled and organized the entirety of the Portfolio Review portion of CoMotion for over 15

companies and 50 students.• Portfolio Review interviews resulted in numerous network and collaboration opportunities as

well as over 30 internships/freelance/design jobs. • Successfully communicated and delegated to teams of over 20 people on numerous occasions.• Maintained the group’s calm and positive energy when panic and frustration threatened the

event’s productivity.
