3. OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION:

It shall be non-lubricating air compressor of suitable type with accousitc enclosure to generate dry,

clean and oil free compressed air at required pressure in requisite quantity shall be supplied. The air

compressor system shall be designed to meet hourly peak demand. The system shall be provided with

100% standby capacity (One working and one standby).

The system also shall be supplied with motor, necessary controls and instruments, suction filter, and

with all other accessories

� The system shall be complete with necessary filters and auto-drain, moisture

separators, with minimum pressure drop during operation. It should be with all control

and instruments for proper operation and control of the machine.

5. SPARES:

� The supplier should submit their quote for essential spare parts considering normal

operation for two years operation of the equipment.

� The list of spares parts should match with the spares parts provided in the operation

and maintenance manual.

6. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS:

� The supplier shall furnish in their offer the technical particulars such as make, type,

model, capacity and all other technical particulars of the equipment considered by

them against this enquiry.

� The supplier should submit mounting detail drawings in hard and soft copies (AutoCAD)

with offer.

7. TOOLS:

� Special tools if any required shall be provided along with machine.

8. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED:

� Operation & Maintenance Manuals: Each machine shall be provided with operating

and maintenance manual in English language. The manual shall cover all relevant

information about the equipment, safety instructions, Trouble shooting guide, spare

parts list etc.

� Inspection & Test Certificate: The supplier shall submit the necessary Inspection &

test certificate in original.

9. SUPERVISION OF INSTALLATION & COMMISSIONING:

� The supervision of installation & commissioning of shall be provided in 3-4 days

spanning in two to three visits of manufacturer’s representative to the project site.

The manufacturer would satisfy the user in respect of performance with regard to

output capacity.

10. TRAINING:

� It shall be provided at plant location to operation and maintenance staff and shall

generally includes

• Your installation engineer will impart training on handling of the

machine, routine daily maintenance.
