Call for Abstract: Abstract not more than 300 words

are invited for publication in Souvenir/ Abstract Book.

(Theme Font: Times New Roman, 12pt). Mention the

theme area in which applied. (Last date of Sending thAbstract is 25 March, 2020) Please include your

Call for Articles/ Full papers: Soft copies of full paper

(about 3000 words) on A4 size typed in Times New

Roman with single space 25mm margin all around in

font size 12 points in MS-Word format should

Specific Guidelines for Oral Presentations

A limited number of papers will be provided an

opportunity for presentation which is of mass interest

and relevant to the themes/sub themes of

International conference. The selected participants

will have to present their papers in MS-Power Point

(ppt) format only within a time limit of 10-15 minutes.

Remaining papers will be requested for poster

presentation and will be informed about the same by

screening committee after evaluating the abstracts.

Specific Guidelines for Poster Presentations

The standard poster size for the conference is 3feet

(length) X 2feet (width). Participants shall mount their

own posters at the venue. (Display Board & other

required items will be provided at the venue.) Bring

printed poster as no printing facility will be provided at

the venue.

Guidelines for Awards

Best Research Award (PG/PhD): The PhD and

PG students are required to present their current

research work and the same will be evaluated for

award presentation. Completed research work

only will be allowed to be presented (Certificate

of this effect duly endorsed by the supervisor and

Head is to be submitted)

Background

Today's world is experiencing a change in social,

political and economic structure with the

Introduction of Technology. Many technology and

i n n o v a t i v e a p p r o a c h e s a r e r e p l a c i n g

conventional and traditional methods in most of

the fields. Home Science being an inter

disciplinary field needs much more focus and

integration for strengthening the job avenues and

research. Home scientists have developed their

own methodologies and theories for explaining

different phenomenon covering various areas in

the field of home science and relatable fields. It

has now assumed much significance in view of

inter disciplinary nature and its potential for

empowering women at micro level and society at

macro level. Technological trends in Home

Science is now evolving to enable faster change

and progress, causing an acceleration of the rate

of change, until eventually it will become

exponential.

Home science being an inter disciplinary fields

needs much more focus and integration for

strengthening the job avenues and research and

the present conference is planned to deliberate

on the Technological Trends and Innovative

approaches in Home Science. The st
