RED CROSS BABYSITTING COURSEThis course is interactive, with fun role-playing activities. Students will explore the business of babysitting, creating safe environments, safely caring for ages 0-12 and First Aid skills. Also, this course is suitable for parents who want to leave their children at home safely and confidently. Prerequisite: Ages 11-15.

SEA ISLAND ADULT LEARNING CENTRE COURSESCourses offered at Sea Island are computer assisted. Course content is provided through a computer. You will study independently but with the assistance of a teacher.

WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDSWithdrawing from a Course• Please inform your instructor and the Continuing

Education office 604-668-6111.• International Student and Graduated Adult

withdrawals requests received before the 3rd session are subject to a 10% processing charge (max $40).

• There are no tuition refunds for requests received after the 3rd session.

• Refunds are made the same way as paid, except that cash payments are refunded by cheque. Allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing.

• Full refunds are issued for courses cancelled by Continuing Education.

Richmond Continuing Education will be offering a Full Time programfor Richmond Education Assistant Program (REAP) starting in July 2017.

~ Do you enjoy supporting children and youth with special needs?~ Are you compassionate?~ Are you a life-long learner?~ Are you a team player?~ Are you passionate about inclusive learning communities?

Students in Full Time REAP will study five days per week, 9:00 am – 3:30 pm starting in July 2017 and end in January 2018. Times may vary slightly especially during the practica.REAP students will learn how to work with Kindergarten to Grade 12 students with physical, behavioral, sensory and learning needs in schools. Joining REAP will open the door to job opportunities in this challenging and fulfilling career field in education.
