What does the ‘Job Aid’ deal with?
Adolescent-specific health conditions which have not been addressed in WHO guidelines (e.g. puberty)
Some health conditions that not adolescent specific which have been addressed in WHO guidelines, in order to highlight some key dos and don'ts when dealing with adolescents (e.g. vaginal discharge & anxiety)

Each algorithm has the following

CLASSIFY MANAGE FOLLOW-UP
The ‘classify’ column has three colours
RED, YELLOW & GREEN
• Red signifies a serious condition & requires referral
• Yellow signifies a condition of moderate severity that the health worker at the primary level may or may be able to manage.
• Green signifies a normal or relatively mild condition that the health worker at the primary level can manage.
