Sri HairakHan BaBaji

Sri Babaji è apparso nel giugno 1970 in una grotta ritenuta sacra da migliaia di anni ai piedi del Monte Kailash nella regione Himalayana del Kumaon, sulle rive del fiume Gotama Ganga, di fronte a un remoto vil-laggio: Hairakhan. A coloro che chiedevano chi fosse, Babaji rispondeva che Lui è Shiva Mahavatar Babaji, noto a migliaia di persone nel mondo attraverso l’Autobiografia di uno Yogi di Paramahansa Yogananda.

Un Mahavatar è una manifestazione umana di Dio non nato da donna.La Sua venuta è stata predetta dalle antiche Scritture. Egli è stato una

manifestazione di Dio fin dai primi tempi in cui l’uomo imparò la religio-ne. Nel corso della storia Babaji ha insegnato a molti Maestri spirituali, sempre cercando di portare l’uomo verso Dio e verso valori spirituali. La gente è attratta da Lui perché lo sperimenta come Essere divino, saggio e pieno d’amore, vero e senza età, molto al di sopra del livello umano.

Babaji affermava che tutte le religioni possono portare il sincero devoto a Dio. Egli viene onorato da Hindu, Ebrei, Cristiani, Musulmani, Sikh, Buddhisti, Shintoisti - perfino atei si sono ritrovati ad inchinarsi a Lui. Egli ripeteva spesso che tutta l’umanità è una famiglia: la Famiglia di Dio.

Scopo principale della Sua venuta è rimuovere la confusione e il male. Per focalizzare la mente su Dio, Babaji ha insegnato a ripetere l’antichissi-mo mantra sanscrito Om namaH SHivaya, di grandissimo potere spirituale, usato da millenni, che significa: Prendo rifugio in Dio, sia fatta la Sua Volontà. La ripetizione del mantra deve accompagnare la pratica del Karma Yoga, cioé il lavoro disinteressato dedicato a Dio, come mezzo più semplice e rapido per arrivare a Dio in quest’epoca caotica di cambiamento.

Sri Babaji ha lasciato il corpo il 14 febbraio 1984. Nei primi tempi della Sua missione aveva predetto questo ad alcuni devoti; ha detto della Sua forma umana: “Questo corpo non è niente, è qui solo per servire la gente”.

Sri HairakHan BaBaji

Sri Babaji appeared in June 1970 in a cave considered sacred since thousands of years at the feet of Mount Kailash in the Himalayan region of Kumaon, on the banks of the river Gotama Ganga, in front of a remote village: Hairakhan. To those who asked who He was, Babaji answered that He is Shiva Mahavatar Babaji, known to thousands of people through the Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda.

A Mahavatar is a human manifestation of God not born of woman.His coming has been foreseen in the ancient Scriptures. He has been a

manifestation of God since the first times man learned religion. Through the history Babaji taught many spiritual Masters, always trying to lead man towards God and spiritual values. People are attracted by Him be-cause they experience Him as a divine Being, sage and full of love, true and ageless, high above the human level.

Babaji affirmed that all religions can lead the sincere devotee to God. He is honoured by Hindus, Jews, Christians, Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists, Shintoists - even atheists found themselves bowing down to Him. He often repeated that all mankind is a family: the Family of God.

The main goal of His coming is the removal of confusion and evil. To focus the mind on God, Babaji taught to repeat the most ancient Sanskrit mantra Om namaH SHivaya, of greatest spiritual power, used through millennia, that means: I take refuge in God, God’s Will be done.

The repetition of the mantra should accompany the practice of Karma Yoga, the unselfish work dedicated to God, as the simplest and fastest means to reach God during this chaotic age of transformation.

Sri Babaji left His body on February 14th 1984. In the beginning of His mission He had forecast this to some devotees; He said about His human form: “This body is nothing, it is here only to serve people”.

La terra cambia software. Il nuovo con le sue meraviglie aspetta noi per essere installato. L’uomo si alza finalmente al cielo. Il cielo scende in terra. La divisione, dopo un tempo di buio, si fonde: unità qui e ora. Molti grandi la preparano. Lao Tzu fu uno di loro e il suo Tao un grande aiuto.

Lo scopro, mi innamoro, lo studio, e penetrandolo in punta di piedi lo vedo riflettermi sempre un volto, quello del divino Babaji.

La via del Tao e la via di Babaji sono una: Adesh, volontà divina. Se la verità è una ed entrambi sono verità, perché non farne uno la voce dell’altro? Un oracolo con un volto, per alzarsi e volare.

Conoscere le eterne leggi del Tao, è utile al volo; essere Adesh, caval-carne i venti è dei piloti esperti.

Chiedo perdono a Lao Tzu per averlo usato come trampolino di volo. Chiedo luce ad entrambi nel desiderio sincero di voler aprire a molti

un dono destinato a pochi.La musica è la colonna sonora del video “adeSH”. Sopra una base di

didgeridoo e tabla, simboli di spazio e tempo, Shiva e Shakti, rotolano spruzzi di eventi musicali legati a Babaji e al suo viaggio in terra: una corsa nella memoria di un lampo nella notte.

Ringrazio R.L. Wing, che con la sua versione inglese illuminante e viva mi ha trasmesso il desiderio di farne uno strumento per pionieri del tempo nuovo.

The earth is changing software. The new one, with all its wonders, is waiting for us to be installed. At last man is rising to heaven. Heaven is descending to earth. After an age of darkness their division is melting: unity here and now. Many great masters have come to prepare this. Lao Tzu was one of them and his Tao is a great help.

I find it out, I love it, I study it, and penetrating it on tiptoe I see it always reflecting on me a face, the face of the divine Babaji.

The path of Tao and the path of Babaji are one: Adesh, divine will. If truth is one and both of them are truth, why not making the one the voice of the other? An oracle with a face, to rise up and fly.

Knowing the eternal laws of the Tao is useful for the flight; being Adesh, riding its winds is for expert pilots.

I apologize to Lao Tzu to have used him as a springboard. I ask them both for light in my sincere wish to open to many people

a gift for a few.The music is the soundtrack of the video “adeSH”. On a basis of didge-

ridoo and tabla, symbols of space and time, Shiva and Shakti, sprinklings of different musical events linked with Babaji and his journey to earth roll by: a rush in the memory of a lightning in the night.

I thank R.L. Wing, who with his enlightening and live English translation passed on me the will to make it a means for the pioneers of the new age.

mEtodo di ConsultAzionE

Per consultare Adesh avete bisogno di un unico dado, una matita e un foglio di carta. Il metodo è solo un modo per generare un numero casuale - per isolare un momento nel tempo e nello spazio come punto di partenza per la vostra indagine in Adesh.

Non c’è nulla di significativo nel procedimento in sé.Dopo aver formulato la domanda che vi sta a cuore, lanciate il dado.

Il primo lancio rappresenta la linea più bassa del tetragramma. Leggete il dado così:

1 o 2 = 3 o 4 =5 o 6 =

e tracciate la linea corrispondente. Ripetete il procedimento altre tre volte finché avrete costruito il tetragramma completo dal basso verso l’alto.

Per determinare il numero del vostro tetragramma fate riferimento alla Tavola dei Bigrammi nella pagina seguente.

Le due linee inferiori si chiamano ‘bigramma inferiore’ e le due linee superiori si chiamano ‘bigramma superiore’.

Dividete il vostro tetragramma in due bigrammi e localizzate il bi-gramma inferiore nella colonna a destra.

Ora scorrete orizzontalmente lungo quella colonna finché siete diret-tamente sotto il vostro bigramma superiore.

Il numero che troverete lì corrisponde al numero del passaggio di Adesh.

REfEREnCE mEthod

You need a single die, a pencil and a paper. The method is merely a way to generate a random number - to isolate a moment in time and space as a departure point for your own investigation into Adesh.

There is nothing significant about this process in itself.After having formulated the question important for you, throw the die.

The first roll of the die represents the bottom line of the tetragram. Read the die as shown below and draw the corresponding line.

1 or 2 = 3 or 4 =5 or 6 =

Now repeat this process three more times until you have constructed, from the bottom up, a complete tetragram.

To determine the number of your tetragram, refer to the Bigram Chart on the next page. The two lower lines are called the ‘lower bigram’, and the two upper lines are called the ‘upper bigram’.

Divide your tetragram into two bigrams, then look down the right hand column and locate your lower bigram.

Now trace horizontally across that column until you are directly under your upper bigram.

The number you will find there corresponds to the number of the passage in Adesh.
