ADDENDUM NO. 2 Date: February 12, 2020 TO THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS Project No.: 708335 for the construction of Schedule A and B Phase 5B Project: Package 1 – Salmon Creek Treatment Plant Odor Control and Existing Facilities Improvements

To All Planholders and/or Prospective Bidders:

The following changes, additions, and/or deletions are hereby made a part of the Contract Documents for the construction of Schedule A and B Phase 5B Project: Package 1 – Salmon Creek Treatment Plant Odor Control and Existing Facilities Improvements, dated January 2020 as fully and completely as if the same were fully set forth therein:

A. SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS

1. Page 14. DELETE Paragraphs 7.08.B through 7.08.F in their entirety and REPLACE with the following:

“7.08.B. Owner will apply and pay for the construction permits and licenses from Clark County listed below. The Contractor will be required to finalize and sign for these permits.

7.08.B.1. Schedule A:

a. Commercial Building permits (CMN-2019-00394 through 00398). b. Mechanical Permits (MCH-2019-02792, 02795, 02797). c. Retaining Wall Permit (FRT-2020-0009). d. Grading Permit GRD-2019-00095-02. e. Right of Way Permit.

7.08.B.2. Schedule B:

a. Commercial Building Permits (CME-2020-0039 through 0042). b. Mechanical Permit MCH 2020-200. c. Completion of plan review and issuance of these permits requires approved Contractor provided submittals for equipment and anchorage calculations in accordance with the technical specifications.

7.08.C. Information regarding permit requirements is available on the Clark County LMS website. Contractor shall examine the permits and conform to the requirements contained therein, including the purchase of additional bonds or insurance as specified therein, and such requirements are hereby made a part of these Contract Documents as fully and completely as though the same were set forth herein. Failure to examine the permit(s) will not relieve Contractor from compliance with the requirements stated therein. Within 5 days after the date of signing the Agreement, Contractor shall confer with an agent of the permitting agency so that insurance requirements and similar matters can be arranged prior to the time set for that portion of the Work.

7.08.D. The Clark County Commercial Building Permit is not the only permit required for construction for the Project. The Contractor shall obtain and pay of the other permits required for the Project.

7.08.E. The Contractor shall arrange for inspections required for all permits required for the Project. The Contractor is responsible for maintaining all permits required for the Project in good standing with the issuing agency.

7.08.F. The Owner will pay Clark County directly for fees associated with any deferred submittal review required for the permits listed in Paragraph 7.08.B.”

B. SPECIFICATIONS

1. Section 23 00 00, Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Basic Requirements.

a. Page 7, Article 1.04, Submittals, Paragraph B, Action Submittal Items for this Section, Item No. 10. DELETE “Form 46 05 29-A” and REPLACE with “Form 43 05 13-A”.

b. Page 16, Article 2.11, Roof Curbs: For Roof Mounted Fans and Air Conditioner Units, Paragraph G. DELETE “Section 01 73 24” and REPLACE with “Section 01 88 15.”

2. Section 23 09 00, HVAC Instrumentation and Control Performance Specifications. Page 1, Article 1.01, Summary, Paragraph D, Item No. 1. DELETE “the Process Control Laboratory” and REPLACE with “Buildings 70 and 72”.

3. Section 23 74 00, Air Supply Units. Page 5, Article 3.02, Installation, Paragraph B. DELETE “Section 43 05 13” and REPLACE with “Section 23 00 00.”
