The Rosebery Way1. All members of our community are shown the level of respect and kindness that we would expect for a member of our family.

2. High expectations are never set by creating a fear of failure; they are set by demonstrating belief in each other’s ability to achieve.

3. Members of our community who do not meet our expectations are supportedto help them to do so.

4. We never ask anyone to do anything that we would not be prepared to do ourselves.

5. We act with integrity by doing the right thing whether or not anyone is watching.

Wellbeing‘Most of us are trapped in prisons of our own making; caring too much about things that

don’t really matter, and forgetting about out dreams.’ John C. Parkin

Scary statistics about our young people:

1. Young people’s happiness is at its lowest since 2010. 2. Fear of crime is the most common problem of all, affecting 2.2 million

children. 3. One million children (18%) have seven or more serious problems in their

lives. 4. Children facing seven or more of the 27 serious problems asked about

were 10 times more unhappy than those with none. 5. The gap in happiness between boys and girls has widened.6. Government cuts have taken a massive impact on wellbeing.

Survey done by the Children’s Society 2017
