The ACOVENT Company , established in 1980, is a specialist in the construction of centrifugal and axial flow fans for industry and conditioning.

Since the beginning we

ACOVENT production is divided into three main lines : - Industrial centrifugal fans - Axial flow fans - Ventilation unit for printing

Machines.

Today production is featured by highly specialized technical

contents, flexibility in design and in production together with high quality standards. Each supply is tailor made to fulfil Cutomer’s specific request. In the workshop with a total 7.000 square meters manufacturing area Acovent employs approx 60 staff.

The workshop is equipped with running test

and aeraulic test facilities .

Modern equipments for the manufacturing include : Amada laser machine 3000W with 10 automatic racks, working area 1.500 x 3.000 mm. Max. thickness 18 mm. GHT laser machine 2500W working area 1.500 x 3.000 mm. Max. thickness 15 mm. ESAB HD plasma machine working area 2.500 x 6.000 mm Max. thickness 35 mm. CNC Balancing machine

Different machines as MIG welding machines, punching ma- chine, folding machine, horizontal ben- ding machine,

To paint our products we have n°2 painting rooms with area 5.000x2.200x3.000 mm n° 01 painting room with area 10.000 x 7.000 x 9.000 mm.

To move and lift our fans we can count on N° 14 cranes with lifting capacity up to 10 tons and lifting height up to 9 meters. This can be considered as the The Best Production Condition.

Centrifugal Fans.

CTA-CTR – Low Pressure Serie

Centrifugal fans with high efficiency, backward flat (CTR) and Airfoil profile blade (CTA). Single and double width execution.

Volume flow up to 1.000.000 m3/h and pressure up 3.500 Pa.

CTC-NFR-NFL – Medium Pressure Serie

C e n t r i f u g a l f a n s with high efficiency for medium pressure with backwardcurved (CTC) and backward flat blade profile (NFR- NFL). An Airfoil profile is also available. Single and double width execution

Volume flow up to 1.000.000 m3/h and pressure up to 8.000 Pa.

CTD-NFD-NFE – High Pressure Serie

Centrifugal fan with high efficiency for high pressure with backward curved impeller profile.

Volume flow up to 350.000 m3/h and pressure up to 20.000 Pa.

Our production, beside the normal Mid Steel/Corten Steel construction, offers a wide series of customer-

oriented manufacturing as : - impeller and casing ebonited - Stainless Steel construction in AISI 304, 316 321, Duplex

and corrosion resistant Stainless Steel - Titanium impeller - Fan suitable for working at low temperature (-40°C) and high temperature ( +800°C) - Fan compleltely manufactured in antiwear material.

The high performance fans involves clear procedures throughout all the stages of design, manufacturing and testing. Regarding the material, particularly for the impellers, ACOVEN utilizes high-yeld materials. Impeller and csing calculations are performer on stress analysis for proper sizigi. Modern CAD system and software programs continuosly updated help in Achieving the best engineering solutions.

Fans’ Accessories.

Fan Casing Isolation.

Sound insulation is currently a subject of noisy debate. It is comforting to know that our sound-insulation product range already offers all kinds of possibilities to reduce the sound level to the minimum. Also a serie of acoustic box is available.

Inlet Vane Control.

Dampers regulate the volume flow of radial fans to adapt the fans to the different operating conditions of the plant. The alteration of flow using a damper i san inexpensive but rather energy-consuming method of control. Inlet Vane Control proves to be much more reasonable.The shape of teh adjustable guiding vanes reduce the impact loss which result from guiding the air flow on entering the impeller

Louvre Dampers.

Another system to regulate the volume flow consist of louvre damper . This device should be assembled at fan outlet to control the pressure . The power consumption of the fan can not be reduced as in the use of Inlet Vane Control.

All dampers can be operated with a hand

lever as well as an actuator.

Silencers.

To reduce the noise at inlet or outlet of the fan ACOVENT offers a both silencers with baffles then tubular silencers According to the Customer’s requirement the silencers could be manufactured in Carbon Steel, Galvanized Steel or Stainless Steel.

Ventilation Unit.

The experience achieved in years of partnership with some of the principal manufactures of flexo and rotogravure equipments allow us to offer technological advanced products. Our project are designed to meet every need and are designed in 2D

and 3D platform to guarantee maximum precision. The used material meets all the rules and safety codes : mild steel for supportino structures, carbon steel and stainless steel for ducts and fans, explosion proof execution.

Regulating air system driven by electro or pneumatic actuator suitable for PLC connection. The air heating can be performed by diathermic oil exchangers, steam or electric or by means of gas burner. Acovent is also capable of intervention on existing plants with revision, upgrading and revamping solutions.

Dust Suppression System. Acovent dust suppression systems have been designed to remove suspended dust in environments that require reduced dust emission into the atmosphere. The operating principle is based on a jet of finely atomised water transported at a distance by an air jet generated by a fan. The water droplets capture the suspended solid dust particles along their trajectory, making them fall to the ground by gravity.

Once you know the area to be covered with the “mist”, you

can choose the nozzle to generate the droplets that “englobe” the pollutant. The diameter of the droplets must be chosen according to the grain of the dust to be suppressed. The drops emitted by the nozze are specifically created to allow the dust particles to be easily captured. The humidification obtained trough these water droplets, whose side is described in microns,

allows the creation of a protective film on the superficial layer, thereby preventing the dust to be conveyed. Acovent dust suppression system are based on fluid dynamic and mechanical design of the system and on air jets that expand in an isobaric environment.

Fan’s Technology . At ACOVENT our designs are based on extensive and on-going research and development. This includes: - Development of products

designed to meet the specific requirements of an application, such as resistance to abrasion, corrosion, zero leakage, shaft seals, etc..

- Development and improvement of custom and standard fan designs.

A deep study based on software finite elements calculations allow ACOVENT to choose the proper size and material of the designed fan.

Fluid Dynamics software allows our technicians to study the best efficiency for single fans or serie in order to have less power consumption and low noise level possible. All fan series have been tested in our facilities according AMCA 210 norms.

The production is followed step by step by skilled technician with help of instruments necessary to guarantee the quality and so the Customer’s Satisfaction.
