“The Master of Mass Communication programme is a platform for new experiences for industry professionals. Beyond academics, this programme includes a lot of practical elements and sharing by prominent industry experts to develop not just communication practitioners, but communication leaders. I also had the opportunity to attend and present at overseas conferences as well as being involved in the process of publishing new research. Above all, it’s the knowledge, experience, networking and friendships created throughout the journey that I take with me in moving forward.”

“The MMC programme is an academic research oriented programme that amalgamates theory and practice. Having been a communications practitioner for some time, I felt that the course offered me a fresh perspective in understanding what we do, and the way we conduct our communication activities. With course mates from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, the discussions that happen in class can sometimes be quite thought-provoking and interesting. Besides expanding our horizons, the wonderful friendships gained made the programme enjoyable and fun.”

“The knowledge I had gained from the Master of Mass Communication programme, coupled with my own experience working within the evolving media landscape in Singapore, has equipped me with the ability to think more widely about how I can contribute to this industry. There was a good mix of course topics covered -- which

allowed me to customise the type of programme I wanted for myself -- taught by lecturers who could make academic theories relevant to the real world. But the best

part of the programme has to be the friends I had made, who were always keen to collaborate and band together no matter how trying our Masters journey was.”
