A2 Advanced Portfolio Evaluation

How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?

Throughout my advanced portfolio, I have used programs on the computer I have never used before and advanced on my skills on others.

I had never used Adobe Premiere before we created the video but found it easy to pick up skills along the way working with my group. I learnt to firstly be able to put clips of film together, edit them such as making it black and white, blurring and putting parts in slow motion. I am now also able to fade two different clips together by using effects such as ‘fade to white’ and ‘fade to black’.A program I developed more skills on was using Photoshop. I used effects such as contrasting and brightness controls to get the right texture to my ancillaries and editing and colouring texts used from dafont.com to look how I wanted.Our group also learnt how to convert and upload our video on to YouTube correctly.Lots of time has also been spent on my eBlogger and slideshare to get everything uploaded, prepared and neat.
