Im sure everyone is really look- ing forward to another long weekend! This week saw the first week of After School Clubs and weve been delight- ed by both the response and number of children enrolling in some really fun ac- tivities. We look forward to sharing an insight into these via our newsletters over the coming weeks. Weve had the final day of voting for our school Governor today. Once theyve been counted, we look forward to sharing the outcome with you all. We were so lucky to have such a wonderful group of people apply, so a huge thank you to you all. We would like to extend a very warm welcome to our new site manager Ricky, who started with us this term. We really look forward to having you as part of our Smallberry Team! School photos were taken this week. We should be receiving the proofs in the next week or so and then order forms will be going out straight after. I m sure theyre going to be fantastic! Just a reminder about attendance. We have noticed a dip again, with chil- dren being off in term time. Please can we ask not to take children out unless completely essential. It means they miss out on vital school learning. If you have any questions about this, the school office staff are always willing to answer any queries. We have absolutely loved seeing children play in the sandpit now that the weather has (sort of!) picked up. Please can we ask that parents make sure this isnt climbed upon out of school hours. Many thanks for your cooperation. Our lunch menu for next week will be Week 2. Wishing everyone a lovely weekend. Dates for Your Diary

A note from the Headteacher

Dear Parents

We hope you’ve all had a good week back. I’m sure everyone is really look-ing forward to another long weekend!

This week saw the first week of After School Clubs and we’ve been delight-ed by both the response and number of children enrolling in some really fun ac-tivities. We look forward to sharing an insight into these via our newsletters over the coming weeks.

We’ve had the final day of voting for our school Governor today. Once they’ve been counted, we look forward to sharing the outcome with you all.

I’m sure they’re going to be fantastic!

Just a reminder about attendance. We have noticed a dip again, with chil-dren being off in term time. Please can we ask not to take children out unless completely essential. It means they miss out on vital school learning. If you have any questions about this, the school office staff are always willing to answer any queries.

We have absolutely loved seeing children play in the sandpit now that the weather has (sort of!) picked up. Please can we ask that parents make sure this isn’t climbed upon out of school hours. Many thanks for your cooperation.

Our lunch menu for next week will be Week 2.

Wishing everyone a lovely weekend.

Kind regards

Ms Jn Charles
