Circular No. 125 of 2015-2016

Subject : Information regarding Eligibility conditions and verification of Eligibility

Application Forms in respect of various courses of the University.

Principals of affiliated colleges, Directors of recognised institutions and Heads of University

Departments shall take the responsibility of doing all the work related to eligibility of students

admitted by them to various courses of the University in their respective colleges/ institutions /

University Departments.

Eligibility certificate is the first document which enables the students to get admission

to the chosen course in the College And Institutes under University Jurisdiction. In the interests

of the students as well as in the academic interests of the University, it is necessary that the

process of issuing eligibility certificate should be completed expeditiously. If such process is

delayed or remains faulty due to any reason, students and alongwith them all other concerned

have to suffer. Money spent by the students and their valuable years are wasted.

To avoid such eventuality or at least to minimise the same, it is necessary that this process

should be completed very carefully, cautiously and with speed. The Heads of University departments/

the Principals of colleges as well as Directors of recognised Institutes are requested to note

carefully the following instructions for this purpose :

1. The Principal of the College or Director of the Institute should check that the applicant

satisfies all the conditions of admission to the concerned course before admitting such

an applicant i.e. admissions are to be made according to the rules.

2 . The Principal/Director/Head, University Department shall ensure that the student has

submitted copies of the required Certificates. The Principal/Director/Head shall verify

the true copies with the originals and endorse accordingly.

3. The originals should be retained by the College/Institute/University Department

and should be made available to the University officials at the time of verification

of eligibility.

4. The student is responsible for any discrepancy, error, wrong or incomplete

information in the form. The authority granting admission shall ensure that the

student has filled application completely and without any mistake.

5. Eligibility shall be decided strictly as per the provision of Ordiance No. 56 to 64

and 0.115 & 0.116.

6. The Principal of the affiliated college and Director of the Recognised Institute/

Head, University Department shall note the contents of University Circulars issued

in this regard from time to time.

7. It should be noted that the eligibility rules should be strictly followed while giving

admission to the students and if any candidate is found ineligible, the Principal/

Head of the Dept./Director of the Institute shall be held responsible for the

lapse and the University office shall not be a party to any litigations arising out

of this critical position.

8. It shall be carefully checked that the students enter all the required information in the

prescribed eligibility form and no column in the form is left blank.

9. (A) Photocopies of the following documents in the neat and legible form with

endorsement as true copy by the Principal/Head/Director or teacher incharge of

admissions, under his signature and stamp (with date) shall be attached to the application.

Certificates not so attested should not be accepted. All Original documents should

be returned to the concerned student/s after the same are verified by the

college/institute/department.

(1) Statement of Marks (Last qualifying exam.).

(2) Passing/Degree certificate (If statement of marks does not indicate clearly

-class/ percentage of marks obtained by the student in the relevant

examination).

(3) Migration certificate (Original) (if applicable).(original will not be returned)

(4) Transference certificate (if applicable).(original will not be returned)

(5) Attendance certificate, (if applicable).(original will not be returned)

(6) (a) Written Statement regarding gap in education and/or change of name

(in the original),

(b) if applicable. (on Rs. 100/- stamp paper/court fee stamp of Rs.100)

(7) Final score card in respect of M.B.A. student.

(8) Copy of the admission letter issued by admission authority in case of centralised

admission process by State or University.

(B) (1) If an Affiliated College/Institute/University Department admits students

who are not eligible for post graduate course and if such students are

allowed to fill in Examination Form a penalty of Rs. 10,000/- per student

shall be imposed on the College and the performance of Examination of

such students will also be cancelled.

(2) If any Affiliated College admits any student not eligible for Under-graduate

/ Institutep / University Department Courses of this University and allows

him / her to fill in the Examination Form, a penalty of Rs. 5000/- per student

shall be imposed on the College and performance of the examination of such

student shall be cancelled.

(3) The same rule applies to the University Departments, Centres/Schools. The

Head of University Department/Director of Recognised Institute will have

to pay penalty as above in case not eligible candidate is allowed to fill in the

University Examination form.

10. The condition of eligibility regarding minimum percentage of marks at the

degree level will be relaxed in case of a candidate who gets required minimum

percentage of marks at the Post Graduate level. For such admission his

minimum percentage of marks at P.G. level will be considered

11. CANDIDATES FROM MAHARASHTRA STATE BELONGING TO SC/ST/DTNT/

OBC MUST SUBMIT THE CASTE VALIDITY CERTIFICATE.

(The students migrating from other states will not be entitled to the concessions/

benefits available to the S.C./S.T./D.T.N.T.,S.B.C. and O.B.C. students of the

Maharashtra State).

The courses for which the condition of minimum percentage of marks is

required; a relaxation of 5% marks be given to the above mentioned categories

of Maharashtra State only.

(Student belonging to N.T.(C), N.T.(D) and O.B.C. must submit Creamy Layer Free

Certificate).

However the candidates from other states who are nominated by the Govt. of India

for admission to any course are entitled to the concessions/benefits available to SC/ST/

DTNT/SBC and OBC, provided they belong to such category of nominating state Ref.

OTC-1097/TE-1 dated 5-8-97 of Maharashtra State for Admission Purpose.

12. The eligibility fee shall be as prescribed by the University Authorities from

time to time (Annexure A).

13. The Colleges/Institutes/University Departments shall receive eligibility fees from their

students and shall issue receipts there of. The Principal shall submit demand draft in

the name of ‘Finance & Accounting Officer, S.P.P.U., Pune-411 007’ of the amounts

so collected, within 10 days from the last date mentioned alongwith list of students. (A

single Demand Draft must be given along with coursewise list of the students.)

As per decision taken by the University authorities on the subject mentioned above, it

is hereby notified as below :

Colleges should retain 40% (5% For Principals / Director) amount of the total eligibility

fees for remumration to non teaching staff and deposit, the rest of 60% amount to

University. (for example : if the eligibility fee is Rs. 100/- then College should retain

Rs. 40/- and deposit the remaining amount of Rs. 60/- to University).

It is further informed that the amount of late fees, additional fees, additonal late fees

should be totally deposited to University of Pune without deducting 40% college share.

Departments, Colleges and Institutes are hereby informed to strictly follow the norms

mentioned above.

(b) The Principals/Directors/Heads of University Departments shall submit

the lists of candidates admitted to the University Office/District Centre

within four days from the last dates mentioned in the above table

respectively.

(c) If any of the last date mentioned above falls on Sunday or Holiday, the last

date shall be the next working day.

14. The Principal/Head/Director is requested to arrange the applications classwise

under these categories as follows :

(a) Students joining the First Year (Arts, Science and Commerce and other Professional

courses) after passing the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination

(XII Std.) of the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education.

(b) Students joining the University for any course on the basis of passing

H.S.C.or equivalent examination other than H.S.C. examination of

Maharashtra State.

(c) Students joining any course on the basis of having passed qualifyingexamination from Pune University will also be required to fillup the eligibilityforms.

(d) The College/Institute/Department shall maintain the record of eligibilitycases for 3 years from the date of admission.

15. Change in Name :

It shall be ensured that name of the student in the application form for eligibility andstatement of marks, passing certificate, Degree Certificate of the qualifying examinationor in any other document enclosed therewith is the same. If in any case there is adifference in the name i.e. in the case of a girl-student if name after marriage isdifferent, proof for change in name, such as copy of Government Gazette, MarriageRegistration Certificate, Affidavit should be enclosed along with the application form.Eligibility Certificate shall not be issued in the absence of such documentary proof.

16. Admissions as per provisions of Ordinance No. 59 :

The Principal/Head/Director shall ensure that in case of a student to whom admissionis granted in anticipation of declaration of his result, as per provisions of Ordinance No.59, the necessary certificates are received within two months from the date of admissions,failing which Principal/Head/Director shall cancel the admission of such student underintimation to the University and the student concerned.

17. Recognised Degrees / Diplomas :

Students passing degrees/diplomas from the Universities/Boards/other ExaminingBodies which are recognised by Association of Indian Universities, New Delhiare only eligible for admission in this University on a reciprocal basis provided thatthe entrance qualifications, duration of the course and the general standard ofattainment is similar to those prescribed by this University (lists of such Universities,HSC Boards and Examining Bodies are enclosed).(Annexure ‘B’) * However incase of degree awarded by open universities the condition regarding and durationof course may be relaxed, provided that the general standards of attainment aresimilar to those prescribed by the Recognising University.

18. External Admissions :

A) The candidate registered as external student of the University for first yearshall be eligible for admission as a Regular ( study in college) student forsecond year .

But those student who have ATKT in First Year are not eligible for admissionfor second year as a Regular to External or External to Regular .

B) The candidate registered as external student for second year shall not beeligible for admission as regular for third year.

C) The candidate registered as regular student for second year shall not beeligible for admission as external for third year.

D) B.A./B.Com degree holders from other university can not take admission asexternal student for B.A./B.Com course in Pune University (Even for different subject )

E) M.Com degree holders from other university can not take admission asexternal student for M.Com course in Pune University (Even for different subject)

F) Before completion of the course, if the External student left the courseand withdraws his Transfer Certificate, and if he desires to continue the saidcourse again in this case his previous performs will be treated as cancelled

19. As per U.G.C. directives a Graduate means a Bachelor Degree holder of threeyears duration course of a Statutory Indian University.

20. Admission to courses after Graduation :

For the purpose of admission to second Graduation course or Post Graduationcourse the candidate should have passed Graduate course of three years durationof this University or any other recognized Indian University or equivalentexamination.

21. Eligibility of MCVC (minimum competency vocational course) is equivalent toXIIStd of Maharastra State Board of higher Education.

22. The students who are passing "A Level Examination University of Cambridge is

equivalent to XII std of Maharastra State Board of secondary and Higher secondary

(Goverment of Maharastra)

23. The Students who Pass Examination conducted by Vishvashanti Gurukul of the Universityof Cambridge for I.B. Diploma programme is equivalent to theXIIStd of Goverment of Maharastra Board (Programme is equivalent to the XIIStd

of Maharastra State Board) of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education.24. Migrated Student with A.T.K.T. Not Eligible for Admission :

No student coming from another University shall be eligible for admission in thisUniversity in the next higher class unless he is declared as passed in the precedingyear/class of the former University, i.e. student who has been granted ATPT/ATKTin any course by other University shall not be eligible for admission in the next higherclass of that course in this University.

25. Student who has appeared for supplementary examination not eligible :Student who has appeared for any supplementary examination of the Statutory Board/University shall not be eligible for admission in higher class in this University unless heis declared as passed before the last date prescribed for admission to the course.

26. Student with S.S.C. and G.C.D. are not Eligible :Students passing S.S.C. examination with English of any Board and GovernmentCommercial Diploma examination of the Government of Maharashtra are not heldeligible for admission to the F.Y. Course of any faculty.

27. Student with 11 years H.S.C. / S.S.L.C. are not Eligible :( i ) Students passing the Higher Secondary Examination of any Board with

duration of 11 years are not eligible for admission to any course whereH.S.C. (XII std.) or equivalent examination is the minimum qualificationin this University. (e.g. Rajsthan Board, M.P. Bhopal Board etc.)

( ii) Students passing the School level examination conducted by the followingBoards should not be admitted to any course in this University on thebasis of certificates of these Boards :(1) The Central Board of Higher Education, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi 110018.(2) The Central Board of Higher Education, 39/7, East, Patel Nagar,New Delhi.(3) The Central Board of Higher Education, Vachaspati Bhavan, New Delhi.

(iii) Students passing the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) conducted byBharatiya Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, are not eligible foradmission to any course in this University.

28. Students passing Diploma in Tools and Die Making conducted by NetturTechnical Training Foundation (NTTF) Bangalore, are not eligible foradminission to any course of this University.

29. Students passing First Year exam from any other university (Open/Regular) shouldhave passed 10+2 Pattern Certificate exam. are eligible for Second and Third Year ofDegree Course of this University, if equivalence is satisfactory.

31. The student who have completed first and second year from another university andadmitted to third year of three years degree course of University of Pune will get passclass only. The student who have completed their first year of Post Graduation fromanother university and admitted to the second year of University of Pune will get passclass only.

32. The college should send all the Equivalence Proposals within 30 days from the date ofthe admission of the student along with all necessary enclosures.

33. The College should not send the equivalence proposals of the students those who arecompleted two years Government Recognized ITI after 10th Standard and admitted forthe First Year B.A./B.com course. The Principal should take necessary decision regardingthe admission of these students at the college level only as per the GovernmentResolution No. VOC-2012/591/Pra.Kra.245(A)/Vyashi-4 dated 28th September 2012 .

34. O.116. No student shall be alllowed to keep terms for two different degree courses,simultaneously, in the same academic year. (for details, please see Ordinance 116)

35. As per Government Resolution No. VOC - 2012 /591/ Pra. Kra. 245-(a) Vyashi - 4

dated 28th September 2012 those who have completed 2 Years Full Time I. T. I. after

S. S. C. examination are equivalent to 12th Standard for further education subject to

final decision of equivalence committee of the University (Academic Council Resolution

No. Vipa A 05 PA/05/2013 dated 5 th December 2013.) [Government Resolution

Enclosed]

36. As per the request of the student the college authority may issue 2 Leaving /

Transference Certificates i. e. one for the purpose of further admission and another for

the purpose of Migration Certificate.

37. Students those who are admitted for provisionaly to any course, should submit his/her

Transference Certificate within 30 days from the date of admission. The Students those

who are failed to submit the Transference Certificated/Leaving Certificate within 30

days from the date of admission, the Principal should cancelled their admission with

immediate effect.

38. Students who are failed in any subject / course of study and take admission for another

course in the same academic year is not suppose to give exam of the previous failed

subjects /course of study in the same academic year. e.g. If a student failed in M. A.

examination for April 2014 and takes admission for the academic year 2014-15 for B.

Ed course on the basis of Bachelors Degree course is not suppose to appear for

backlog papers of M. A. examination in October 2014 or in April 2015 since the

student has taken Transference Certificate for B. Ed. Course.

2. Second Year B.A. Bachelor’s Degree in any faculty provided student who has

passed B.A. Examination will not be eligible for admission

to S.Y.B.A. in the same subject in which he has passed his

B.A. Examination.

3. First Year B.A. Performing Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or its equivalent

Arts Arts (Music, Dance, Drama) Examination with English with

45% marks with common Entrance Test.

4. (a) First Year B.A. Fine Arts Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or its equivalent

Examination with English.

(b) Bachelor in Fine Arts, B.F.A (Applied Art): Pass H.S.C. Examination or Equivlent

B.F.A. (Applied Art) from any stream (Art/Sciences/Commerce) with minimum

4 Years 45% aggregate marks, 40% aggregate marks for reserved

category. And

The candidate should clear the MH-AAC-CET conducted

by government of Mharashtra. And

The admissions shall be carried out by merit list prepared on

the basis of marks obtained in the Common Entrance Test

(c) B.F.A. by Bridge Course: The candidate must have passed Government Diploma in

Art (G.D.Art) (10+5 or 11+4) ( Painting / Applied Art /

i) An applicant who has successfully completed Senior Secondary School Course

from a recognised University of India or outside or from a Senior Secondary Board or

equivalent, constituted or recognised by the Union or by State Government or from any

equivalent institution from a foreign country recognised by the Government of that

country for the purpose of issue of qualifying certificate on successful completion of

the course, may apply for and be admitted into the programme of the Centres of Legal

Education to obtain the integrated degree in law with a degree in any other subject as

the first degree from the University whose such a degree in law is recognised by the

Bar Council of India for the purpose of enrolment.

Provided that applicants who have obtained +2 Higher Secondary Pass Certificate

or First Degree certificate after prosecuting studies in distance or

correspondence method shall also be considered for eligible for admission in the integrated

Five Years or three Years LL.B Course, as the case may be.

Explanation : The applicants who have obtained 10+2 or graduation / post-graduation

through open universities system directly without having any basic qualification for

prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in the law courses.

3) PROHIBITION TO REGISTER FOR TWO REGULAR COURSES OF STUDY :

No student shall be allowed to simultaneously register for a Law degree programme

with any other graduate or post graduate of certificate course run by the same or any

other university or an institution for academic or professional learning excepting in the

integrated degree programme of the same institution

Provided that any short period part time certificate course on language, computer

science or computer application of an institute or any run by a centre for Distance

Learning of a University however, shall be exempted.

4) MINIMUM MARKS IN QUALIFYING EXAMINATION FOR ADMISSION :

Bar Council of India may from time to time, stipulate the minimum percentage of

marks not below 45% of the total marks in case of general category applicants and 40%

of the total marks in case of SC and ST applicants, to be obtained for the qualifying

examination, such as +2 examination in case of integrated five year course or degree

course in any discipline for three year LL.B course, for the purpose of applying for and

getting admitted into a Law degree program of any recognised University in either of

the streams.

Provided that such a minimum qualifying marks shall not automatically entitle a

person to get admission into an institution but only shall entitle the person concerned to

fulfil other institutional criteria notified by the institution concerned or by the Government

concerned from time to time to apply for admission.

Admission for candidates who secured 44.5% marks or more:

The 44.5% marks or more are permitted to be rounded off as 45% marks and the

students who have Secured 44. 5% marks or more in their graduation can be admitted

5) PROHIBITION AGAINST LATERAL ENTRY AND EXIT :

There shall be no lateral entry on the plea of Graduation in any subject or exit

by way of awarding degree splitting the integrated double degree course, at any

intermediary stage of integrated double degree course.”

However a University may permit any person to audit any subject or number of subjects

by attending classes regularly and taking the tests for obtaining a Certificate of

Participation from the University/Faculty according to the rules prescribed by the University

from time to time and give a Certificate therefore.

Rules For Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

[Only for those registered on or after 11th July, 2009. All cases registered before the date

will be governed by earlier rules. lt ts further clarified that any candidate, whose application

has been accepted by the concerned research and Recognition committee provisionally

admitted before 11th July, 2009 will be covered under the old rules.]

Savitribai Phule Pune University offers research programmes in different subjects listed in

Statute 160 and in inter-disciplinary areas leading to award of Degree of Doctor of

Philosophy. A candidate shall ordinarily work in a recognized place of research including the

University Departments, Research lnstitutes and Affiliated colleges recognized by the

University. The rules regarding eligibility, entrance examination, interview, registration,

supervision, submission and evaluation of thesis, viva-voce, defence of thesis etc. shall be as

follows:

1. Eligibility:

For admission to the ph.D. programme in a related subject in the Faculty, applicants

fulfilling any of the following criteria shall be treated as eligible:

a) Persons having passed Post Graduate Degree (Master Degree) Examination with at least

50% marks or equivalent Grade point Average (GPA)

Persons having passed Post Graduate Degree (Master Degree) Examination in the Faculty

of Law with at least 55% marks.

5 % relaxation in the required percentage of marks will be given to the students of State

of Maharashtra belonging to SC/ST/DT/NT/SBC/OBC categories.

b) Persons working in National Laboratories/lnstitutes/Government/Private Organization

Graduate Degree and holding a rank of Assistant Director or above.

Above mentioned rules will also be applicable to the foreign candidates who have

obtained a Masters Degree from any of the recognized lndian Univtrsities.

c] Persons will exceptional abilities having passed graduate degree examination with 50% of

marks and with 15 years experience after graduation in the related field. However,

candidates possessing B.E. Degree in the faculty of Engineering shall atso have patents/

intellectual property rights registered in their names. ln such cases, exceptional abilities will

be decided by the Research and Recognition Committee concerned.

d) Senior citizen of an age of 60 years and above, with a Master’s Degree. In excepticnal

cases, the eligibility for senior citizen shall be at the discretion of the Vice-chancellor.

e) The fellow members of the lnstitute of Chartered Accountants and/or lnstitute of Cost and

works accountants and / or having qualification of company Secretary shall be eligible for

admission to the Ph.D. programme in the subject allocated to the Board of Studies

concsrned under the Faculty of commerce. provided that such candidates possess a

Bachelor's Degree of any recognlized University and also have at last 5 years' professional

experience.

f) A Gradute in Faculty who has developed important new technology (new for the country)

or designed and fabricated special instruments or apparatus which are deemed by a

competent judge to be a valuable in the filed of Engineering/Pharmacy, may be permitted

by the Research and Recognition Committee of the Faculty concerned, on the

recommendation of appropiate Boards of studies to submit his thesis for the ph.D. Degree

in that Faculty. Such a csndidate must have at least 5 years’ standing as a bachelor of the

Faculty concerned.

g) Application for the research in inter-disciplinary areas and from application belonging to a

Faculty or subject other than Faculty or subject in which the research is proposed to be

done and from the international candidates (those who have not obtained the Master’s

degree from Indian Universities) shall be considered on the proven ability and aptitude of

the researcher for such kind of research. Such proposal shall be examined by the Guide

and the Head, Place of Research and Recognition Committee/s concerned, approves the

topic.

Detailed procedure for admission should be evolved by the Faculty concerned.

2. Procedure for conduct of Entrance Examination

Entrance Examination will be normarlly conducated once in a year and two admission

cycles consecutively. it is essential for Foreign Students also.

2(a) Exempition for Entrance Examinacation

Entrance Examination :

i. Qulified in Gate (Valid score*)/GPAT (Valid score*)SET/NET/JRF/SRF examination of the

Commission or Statutory Council such as (AICTE, M.C.I., B.C.I., Nursing Council,

C.C.I.M., C.C.H.M., Pharmacy Council, Council of Architecture) and any other Statutory

Councils/Bodies, as professional Courses.

II) Non-Professional Courses: means & includes

Courses conducted in the faculties of Arts and Fine Arts (excluding Applied Arts), Mental,

Moral and Social Sciences including Bachelor an Master’s Degree in Social Work,

Communication and Journalism, Commerce (excluding BBA, BCA & BBM), Science

(excluding Applied and Computer Science courses), Course in Home Science as Non-

Professional courses.

III) (a) Foreign National : means a citizen of any country other than India.

(b) Person of India Origin (PIO): Means a Person who is citizen of other countries

(except Pakistan and Bangladesh) who at any time held and Indian Passport, or who

or either of his parents or any of his grand parents was a citizen of India by virtue of

the provisions of the constitution of India of Section 2 (b) of Citizenship Act, 1955 (Act

No.57 of 1955)

IV) International Student: means an International student who possesses a foreign passport.

V) Non-Resident Indian (NRI) (as per Income Tax, 1961):

As per Income Tax Act. 1961, and individual is non-resident for income tax purpose, when

he is “not a resident” or who is “not ordinarily resident”. A person is treated as “not

ordinarily resident” when any of the following conditions is satisfied.

1. If he has not been resident in India in 9 out of 10 preceding years: OR

2. If He has not been in India for a period of 730 days or more during the preceding

7 years.

A person, who is non-resident in India or not ordinarily resident, is taxed in India only

ANNEXURE ‘A’ ELIGIBILITY FEE1. Student passing qualifying examination and seeking admission First Time to First Year

2. Admission charges for the submission of required documents will be Rs. 300 for non-

3. If an affiliated College admits students not eligible and who are migrating from other

University/Board and allowing to fill in Examination Form without obtainingEligibility certificate,

a penalty of Rs.10,000/- per student would be imposed on the College and the performance

of Examination of such students will also be cancelled.

4. If any affiliated College admits any student not eligible for Under-graduate or Post-Graduate

Courses of this University and allows him/her to fill in the Examination Form, a penalty of

Rs.5,000/- per student shall be imposed on the College andperformance of the examination

of such student shall be cancelled.

5. the same rule applies to the University Department, Centres/Schools. The Head of University

department/Director of Recognise Institute will have to pay penaltyas above in case not

eligible candidate is allowed to fill in the University Examination form.

Online Application Procedure

1. To apply for Migration Certificate Student need to register himself on website.

2. Registration is similar process like opening an e-mail account.

3. Student can choose his own username and password

4. Once Registration is Complete you can click here or click Migration login link provided

on left hand menu.

5. Now on login page use your username and password to enter in account.

6. Once you are inside your account click Apply for Migration link

7. On this link you will get Migration form.

8. On this form enter the details like Your Name,PRN no. , Exam details, TC/LC no.

College Name, Challan Details etc.

9. You have to fill up your name only mentioned as per University Statement of Marks.

10. Once you are done with data entry click submit button to proceed.

11. If data entry is proper you will be redirected to the printing page.

12. Now click on Get Migration Ticket page to get print out. Actually this a PDF file so

it may take time to load on slower server connection. Please Be Patient.

13. Print the file. This is your receipt of online submission of migration form.

14. After taking printout the application should be duly signed by the applicant.

15. Once application is received online and on paper at department, it will be verified and

processed by department.

16. After successful verification department will send migration certificate by post to the

address provided in application form

General Instructions

1. The fee for issuing the migration certificate is Rs. 500. This must be remitted by Challn of

Rs. 500 for amount deposited in Bank of Maharashtra OR HDFC Bank.

2. The migration certificate is issued on the basis of Original Transfer certificate by the

principal of college last attended by the student in case of regular college student.

3. In the case of the External student's they need to first collect Transference certificate

from external section of the University & then complete Mention Process.

4. In the case of the PG student's from Pune University campus they should first collect

there TC from the admissions section and then follow procedure mentioned above.

5. The original Transfer Certificate Received in the university will not be returned to

candidate. Similarly the fee paid for the Transference certificate and Migration certificate

will not be refunded under any circumstances.

6. Incomplete form or the form, which were not submitted online, will not be accepted.

7. Migration certificate will not be issued personally to candidate. The same will be sent

by Speed post on the address given in the migration certificate application.

8. In case of duplicate copy of Migration Certificate student should attach affidavit from

notary on stamp paper of value Rs. 100/- or above whichever available. Mention details

about Original certificates utilization in the affidavit.
