8 Places you can share your virtual tour on the web
So you have created amazing virtual tours using a professional virtual tour software. You made
tours of properties, of buildings, of sights and nature… but now what? What do you do with them?
Where can you share them?
here’s 8 places you can share your virtual tour on the web:
1. On your own website
Of course, this one’s easy… If you have a website, just embed your tour there! This way, all your
web visitors will see them and marvel at your amazing work
2. On Facebook
Granted, Facebook does not allow you to directly upload or embed a tour, but you can share your
tour link!
If you embedded your tour on your website, then share that link instead - this way the traffic will go to
your website.

If not, then just share your virtual tour link!
3. Instagram
This one’s a little more tricky what with Instagram’s image policies… but what you can do is make a
screen video of your virtual tour, maybe just the first 5 seconds, to draw the user in. Then add a link
to the tour in your profile or the description if allowed and voila - let the clicking commence!
4. Twiter & LinkedIn
On Twitter & LinkedIn again, no embedding or uploading allowed - so here you would use the same
tactic as instagram or facebook, whatever tickles your fancy.
Oh and don’t forget the hashtags! #virtualtours #360tours
5. Q&A websites
Go to Quora or similar Q&A websites and search for “virtual tours” - there will be people asking for
examples, or certain sights you may have photographed. Say you made a tour of a certain museum,
type in that name in Google and see what comes up.
You can perhaps comment on the pages with a link to your tour. Lots of people will be interested and
click!
6. Property portals
Zillow, Rightmove, finn.no Funda or Idealista, to nae but a few - all these property portals accept
virtual tours and you show take advantage of this by listing your properties with them and adding
your virtual tours to them.
Some real estate virtual tour software even have their own portals, like My360 have a very popular
property portal for all their clients, and it’s free!
7. Directories
Milanuncios, Craigslist, marketplace, marktplaats etc etc. All these “buy and sell” websites (or
facebook groups for what that matters) are ideal places to add your virtual tour link if you are selling
something in the tour. If it is a house, or a local attraction, they can all be published in directories!
8. Printed advertisement
What? Yes that’s right! Create a QR code with a link to your tour and add it to all your printed
advertisement!
That includes brochures, magazines, billboards or for sale signs!
Anything to get them clicking!
