Fundations: 10 minutes Please pick ONLY 1 activity from below 1) Drill-Sound Warmup - Assigned on Seesaw or have students look at the

Vowel Teams poster below. Choose five Vowel Teams to practice. Say the letters, keyword, and sound(s) for each. Example: “a-i, bait, /ai/” Next, look at the list of Trick Words and practice reading each word. Check them off as you go.

Dictation- Assigned on Seesaw or please dictate the following sentence for your child while he/she writes the sentence in their Fundations Journal:

Did she bump her leg?**Remind students to mark words and check for uppercase letters and punctuation.

Medial sounds: write the words in your fundations journals

Vowel teams: sort ee and ea words in your fundations journals

Reading: 20 minutesIndependent reading for at least 20 minutes. Remember to use strategies from school and log it on the reading log. Reading log is required, as this will be needed to document your learning.

Writing: 20 minutesSpring Acrostic Poem- Assigned on Seesaw. If writing in the Fundations Journal is easier, please feel free to upload a picture of the work into the Seesaw assignment using the camera tool!

Use the image above to match the shape name (in pink) with the correct shape. Then write a sentence about the red shape. If unable to do that, draw and name 2D shapes in your Fundations Journal. The, write a sentence about the red shape telling its name and what you know about it!

3) Practice Math Facts using Xtra Math, Freckle, or Happy Numbers

If Seesaw is unavailable, please use the above checklist to go on an outdoor Scavenger Hunt with a family member to hunt for the items listed. Check off items as you find them! When you are done, use your Fundations Journal to answer the following questions: 1. What things did you find on your scavenger hunt? 2. Were there things that you were not able to find outside? 3. What was your favorite thing you found today?
