LL-950 SERIES

The new Tuscan LL950 is of an evolutionary design which overcomes the interferencebetween the carriage and steady rest when turning long shafts, or hollow tubes. The designintegrates the rigidity of a “flat bed” lathe and the advantages of a “slant bed” lathe with a 5 bed way design. The LL950 incorporates high rigidity, high efficiency and perfect accuracyin one machine.

Transmitting System:

• Z-axis ball screw is installed in the centre of two beds ways.

• Z-axis servo motor transmits power through 1:2reducer to increase torque.

• Fixed ball screw with rotating nut to move carriage.

• This system prevents vibration of the long ball screw to increase positioning accuracy and reduce noise.

• Ball screw is supported by linear slide. To make sureof the linearity, there is no bending and vibration ofthis long ball screw.

• Precision ball screws are equipped in X and Z-axes.

• Z-axis ball screws are protected by stainless steel shieldto prevent rusting by water and damaging by chips.
