Important Notes:1. Grammar should not be taught in isolation.

2. Grammar is taught in context. Employ fun learning strategies to teach grammar.

3. After introducing the grammar item in a familiar context, then you may teach the rule and usage of the grammar item.

4. Grammar is assessed through speaking and writing activities.

5. Language learning should focus on fluency, accuracy and appropriateness.

ACTIVITY 1: Catwalk of the Year.

Choose 5 pupils in random to be the catwalk models.

Assign each of them with a secret adverb. The models are to perform their catwalks

based on the assigned secret adverbs. Peers are to identify the secret adverbs by

observing the models.
