TASCLADDER
OPENING YOUR LADDER
1. The Tasc Telescopic Ladder is very
portable and should be carried as shown
in Figure 1
2. To begin the opening process, place the
� �ODGGHU�RQ�D�¿UP�OHYHO�VXUIDFH�DQG�VWDELOLVH
with your foot as shown in Figure 2
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT OPEN LADDER FROM THE TOP UNLESS OPENING TOTHE FULL HEIGHT. SECTIONS MAY NOT PROPERLY LOCK AND
YOU COULD BE INJURED
3. There are two (2) ways to OPEN your ladder. Full extension or extension to any interim
height.
INTERIM HEIGHT EXTENSION
1. For opening ladder to any interim height,
always open from bottom upwards,
proceeding as follows:
a. Using both hands, grasp the outside edges
of the rung directly above the rung with
locking rings. Figure 3
b. Pull up and fully extend that section and
the next higher section, one at a time,
until you reach the desired height. Figure 4

IMPORTANT:
THE NEXT STEP IS REQUIRED TO ASSURE SAFE OPERATION FOR INTERIM HEIGHTS
c. Once you reach the desired height, lock the
highest fully opened section by raising the
next higher section approximately 6 inches /
15 cms, until the locking levers are at an
angle of approximately 45 degrees. Figure 5
d. Check to be sure the locking levers for all
fully opened sections are at an angle of
approximately 60 degrees, indicating that
the locking mechanisms are properly
engaged. Figure 6

NEVER USE THE LADDER BEFORE ASSURING THAT THE

e. If any locking levers are not at the proper
angle, lift the ladder by the tubes and
gently tap on the ground. This will
normally bring the locking levers to
correct angle.
FULL EXTENSION
NOTE THAT THE BOTTOM LOCKING
LEVERS WITH PULL RINGS LOCK IN THE
UP POSITION.
1. To open ladder to full height, use the
following procedure:
a. To begin the opening process, place the

with your foot. Figure 7
b. Starting with the top rung, open each
section to its full extension (one section
at a time) until all sections are fully open.

CLOSING THE LADDER
Care should be taken when closing the ladder.
Unlocking and closing is quite simple when done carefully.
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT LOWER THE LADDER TO INTERIM HEIGHTS ALWAYS CLOSE LADDERCOMPLETELY AND THEN RE-OPEN TO DESIRED HEIGHT.
To close the ladder, refer to Figure 10 and proceed as follows:

NEVER PUT ANY PART OF YOUR BODY, INCLUDING YOUR HANDS,FINGERS OR THUMBS ON OR BETWEEN THE RUNGS WHEN
CLOSING THE LADDER.
2. With your other hand, pull down the ringed locking levers ONE AT A TIME, to release the

USE CARE NEVER PULL BOTHRINGS SIMULTANEOUSLY
3. When the bottom locks are released, the
ladder is easily closed by CAREFULLY and SLOWLY telescoping each section
down, keeping your hands on the tubes,
NOT ON THE RUNGS. The ladder
will unlock itself automatically as you
lower each section.
4. Store the ladder indoors.

immediately as it will impede telescoping action
If stiffness develops, wipe tubes with a clean
clothand apply a small amount of silicone spray
wiping any excess with a clean cloth

1. El Andamio Telescópico Tasc posee una gran
portabilidad y debe transportarse tal y como
muestra la Figura 1

bien nivelada y estabilícelo con el pie, tal y

NO ABRA EL ANDAMIO DESDE LA PARTE SUPERIOR A NO SER QUE LO ABRA A SU MÁXIMA ALTURA. PUEDE OCURRIR QUE LAS SECCIONES NO QUEDEN
ADECUADAMENTE ASEGURADAS Y PODRÍA RESULTAR HERIDO
3. Hay dos (2) formas de ABRIR el andamio. Hasta su máxima extensión o hasta cualquier
altura intermedia.
APERTURA A UNA ALTURA INTERMEDIA
1. Para abrir el andamio a cualquier altura
intermedia, ábralo siempre de abajo hacia
arriba, de la siguiente forma:
a. Usando ambas manos, agarre el extremo
exterior del travesaño directamente por encima

b. Tire hacia arriba y extienda por completo esa

3. Il y a deux (2) manières d’ouvrir votre échelle : l’extension complète ou l’extension à un
niveau intermédiaire.

1. Pour ouvrir l’échelle à un niveau intermédiaire,

a. Pour commencer le processus d’ouverture,
placez l’échelle sur une surface ferme et plane

b. En commençant par la marche supérieure,
ouvrez chaque partie jusqu’à son extension
complète (une partie à la fois) jusqu’à ce que
toutes les parties soient complètement

Réalisés avec soin, son déverrouillage et sa fermeture sont assez simples.

NE BAISSEZ JAMAIS L’ÉCHELLE à UN NIVEAU INTERMÉDIAIRE. VEILLEZ TOUJOURS à LA FERMER COMPLÈTEMENT ET à LA RÉOUVRIR à LA HAUTEUR DÉSIRÉE.

Ne montez pas et ne restez pas sur les trois parties supérieures quand l’échelle est complètement étendue.
Ne levez jamais les anneaux de verrouillage et ne les altérez pas avec d’autres verrous lors de l’utilisation.
1H�EDLVVH]�SDV�O¶pFKHOOH�MXVTXH�G¶DXWUHV�KDXWHXUV�intermédiaires. Fermez toujours l’échelle complète-ment, puis réouvrez-la à la hauteur désirée.
Fermez-la toujours de manière contrôlée et avec soin en vous rappelant de ne pas placer vos mains, vos doigts ou vos pouces sur ou entre les marches.
Lorsque vous vous trouvez sur l’échelle, n’essayez pas de passer au-dessus de ou de pousser/tirer l’échelle en vue de changer sa position.
DÉPLACEZ L’ÉCHELLE À L’ENDROIT VOULU.
Faites toujours face à l’échelle et ne montez jamais GHVVXV�SDU�OH�F{Wp��'qV�TXH�SRVVLEOH��O¶pFKHOOH�GHYUD�être maintenue dans une position sûre. Vous devrez porter une attention particulière lorsque vous l’utilisez par temps venteux. Veillez à la garder propre. Entreposez-la à l’intérieur et en posi-tion fermée.
