The 28th Annual Island Fest is shaping up to be a great event! We would like to invite you to apply to this year’s event featuring a juried Arts section and a juried Crafts section. Please be sure to mark your application for the section in which you wish to be judged. The “Taste of Islamorada” will be held on Sunday making it our strongest day, drawing huge crowds. Other festival attractions include music on the beach, huge kites, sand sculptures, a homemade boat race, and the All-American Road Vintage Cruisers antique car show. The booths are only steps away from the bay making this one of the most beautiful show locations in Florida. A special musical event is being scheduled for 5pm Saturday on the Beach stage. Artists will be given the option to remain open until 7pm to enjoy the beautiful sunset on the bay, and the extended hours crowd.

One artist will be selected to win the “Best of Show” and one crafter will be selected for the “Most Creative Artisan.” Both will receive awards presented to them at the show by our Chamber President. They will also receive a free booth space for next year's event. The judging will be done on Saturday by indepen-dent judges.

This year’s two-day event will only cost $175, there is no jury fee, and set up and break down is a breeze, plus free RV parking within Founders Park. Two slides or photos of your work, and one of your display, are required and we are happy to accept them by email. Remember the photos that you send should be an accurate representation of what you are selling. All items must be hand made by the applicant. Thank you for your interest.
