Dear Delegates…

Welcome to the Pre-Internship (PRINT) Conference2018 for NSW-ACT!

First of all, we’d like to congratulate you on makingit through the tough slog that is medical school andfinally earning that “Doctor” title! It feelsunbelievable that in less than 2 months, all of youwill be working as doctors, with a whole newburden of responsibility.

Internship can be terrifying, and that’sunderstandable, because you’ll be facing a verysteep learning curve in your first weeks and months. In a brand new position in the team and hospital, everything can - and does! - feel different. ThePRINT Conference this year specifically focuses ontopics and skills that we - and other NSW-ACT pre-interns - believe are the most useful and essentialfor internship.

We have a packed program featuring amazing highprofile speakers and experienced clinicians, who aremore than eager to share their tips and experienceswith you over the 2 days in inspiring talks and 6highly interactive workshops.

A massive thank you to the PRINT NSW-ACT teamwho have been working so hard to bring you asmashing conference, and to the UniversityRepresentatives who have helped make sure theconference caters to you.

We hope you enjoy the conference and we hopethat by the end of the 2 days, you walk away feelingthat much more confident and prepared forinternship!

Congratulations again and welcome to #PRINT2018!
