1. Readiness is the Chief of Staff of the Army’s number one priority. AMC continues to deliver readiness across the globe. Here at ASC we support Army readiness by providing:

• Acquisition Integration & Management (AIM) Center provides innovative approaches to provide commercial capability to enhance the readiness of the force. Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) provides immediate global civil response and

the Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise (EAGLE) provides for sustained operations • Forward stationed unit equipment sets in support of Army contingencies through Army Prepositioned Stocks (APS) • Installation level logistics support to all posts, camps and stations through Logistics Readiness Centers (LRC) • Equipment redistribution and materiel management through our Distribution Management Center (DMC) and Army Field Support Brigades (AFSB) • The Logistics Assistance Program (LAP) provides early detection and resolution of logistics related problems that have

an adverse impact on unit readiness 2. Readiness and modernization comes at a cost to the Army.

Budget uncertainty undermines readiness, but AMC will continue to prioritize requirements, increase efficiencies and responsibly manage the resources allocated. Further budget reductions here at ASC will lead to mission and staffing challenges

3. Our people are at the core of our support to the Warfighter. AMC is committed to shaping a multi-skilled workforce, guided by proficient leaders, with knowledge, capabilities, and expertise in support of a rapidly deployable and sustainable force. Here at ASC, our workforce

• Is dedicated to assuring our forces are ready to defend this great nation. • We have successfully done this through 14 years of combat operations in multiple theaters.

Key Take-Aways…
