FRIDAY, August 26Speed Networking Breakfast for Municipal Offi cials 8:00 a.m. – Salon D

Facilitator: Jerry Nabours, Mayor, Flagstaff, Member, League Executive Commitee

Join your fellow city and town elected offi cials and staff in a speed networking session that will consist of four mini sessions of 12 minutes each with rotation after each 12 minutes. Each participant will get one minute to share an issue that she/he is facing in their own community or on their council. Your issue can be big or small. Once you have shared your issue, everyone at the table will get one minute to share their initial impressions/reaction. Then the facilitator will announce a table change. Everyone will move to a different table based on a number sequence that avoids redundancy in the small groups. Participants can choose to use the same challenge/issue because your audience will have changed, or you may pose a new challenge to the group.

This session is designed to give you multiple ideas to deal with an issue in your community as well as introduce you to new colleagues throughout the state.
