Rota Vicentina contributes to the sustainability of the region through the promotion of economic activity, stimulation of existing activities and services, maintenance and enhancement of local culture and traditions, stimulating new businesses and promoting the destination out of season. The trail network has received multiple awards, including the prestigious ‘Leading Quality Trails – Best in Europe’ certification by the European Ramblers Association. The project is underpinned by the non-profit Rota Vicentina Association – a partnership of over 150 businesses along the route.
