한국비파괴검사학회에는 6개의 분과로 나뉘어져 각 분과별로 다양한 학술활동을 전개하고 있습

니다. 올해는 초음파분과와 적외선 열화상분과에서 비파괴검사기술 분야의 첨단 R&D를 포함한

기술력 향상 및 기술교류를 위한 공동 워크숍을 개최하게 되었습니다.

비파괴검사 기술은 다양한 산업분야에서 널리 활용되고 있습니다. 특히 초음파 및 적외선열화상

기술은 초기 군수산업에서 원자력/공업플랜트 안전진단, 결함탐지, 항공기/선박 결함진단, 진동

기계류 및 기계설비 상태감시, 에너지/전력설비 진단, 안전 및 보안감시에도 활용을 하고 있으며,

최근에는 신호처리를 포함 검사장비 및 R&D의 비약적 발전으로 각종 미세 결함검출, 피로파괴

및 응력해석, 가스터빈 및 풍력 블레이드에서의 수 단위 결함 검출을 포함한 코팅 및 부식 측정

등 다양한 분야로 활용범위가 확대되고 있습니다.

이와 관련하여 2015년 초음파 및 적외선열화상 공동 워크숍에서는 특히 미국비파괴검사학회

Terry Clausing 회장님을 비롯하여 국외 다수의 저명한 연구자 분들을 선별 초청하여 초음파 및

적외선 열화상 비파괴검사 기술에 대한 기초기술에서 응용기술까지 풍부한 프로그램을 본 워크

숍에서 소개할 수 있어 뜻깊게 생각합니다.

이에 동 워크숍에 회원여러분들을 초청하오니 자리를 빛내주시기 바라오며, 여름의 끝자락에서

해운대의 멋진 추억과 풍성한 학술교류를 얻게 되시길 기원합니다.
