Learn about the band

Task 1: Watch video (0:00 – 2:00)

Watch the video and learn about The Beatles and their success from 1960 – 1970

Task 2: Answer questions / map of Liverpool

Answer questions relating to the video and show Liverpool on the map, point out

Cumbria.

Task 3: Card Sort (Slide 9 – 10)

Use animated slide to learn which member played what instrument. Cut out

instruments and band members. Match them up and stick them down on to the

empty stage to create a revision aid.

Task 4: Wordsearch

Find the words relating to The Beatles. Click on link to make interactive and complete

as a class or print off slide 12 for pupils to complete individually.

Plenary: Complete the word frame

Consolidate knowledge on The Beatles by filling in the missing words to complete

the sentences.
