The event was aimed at showcasing the port’s new infrastructure, service offering and 3 way collaboration with DRS and TDG, to the County’s key business leaders and local and regional influencers.

The day included some spectacular dockside demonstrations, along with high profile guests speakers and key industry experts, including Lord Marland, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change and Dr Pete Waterman OBE, lifelong rail industry mogul and the most successful British producer in music history.

DELIVER……positive delegate feedback

Resource Marketing won this contract in a tough competition. They had to deliver a thoroughly professional event in what I consider were pretty tight timescales. Having worked with many members of the Resource team I was always confident that they would be able to delivera first class event for us in Cumbria.

Under the direction of Owain Oxenham they did just that and the compliments that were paid after the event were fulsome in their praise for the way in which the economic summit was organized and presented.
