Watching from a distance, the rest of his company was amazed and inspired the lieutenant's one-man stand and rushed forward, taking the hill. When they did, they found that the intrepid young officer had thrown nearly three dozen grenades, and a total of 28 Japanese bodies were counted in the bunkers he had destroyed. His battle won, the wounded and weary officer finally rose from the shelter of his small stump to join his victorious company. “And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jepthah, David, Samuel and the prophets, who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised… who shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword, whose weakness was turned to strength; and who become powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. What a great variety of people, many of them just ordinary individuals of faith, but used by God in extraordinary ways to accomplish His will. You see, God makes a habit of doing the impossible through people who are not that much different from you and me. I believe with all my heart that we are surrounded by a greater cloud of witnesses than we will ever know until we all stand together before the throne of our Lord & our God. We are the recipients of the faith, testimony and sacrifices made by unnumbered multitudes who have blazed the path before us. Chris

Kids learn:

God made you;

God is for you;

God is always with you;

God will always love you;

and God made you for a

reason.

At Maker Fun Factory, kids discover that God made them—and for a purpose! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s love, and test out Sciency-Fun Gizmos they’ll take home and play with all summer long. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with the Funshop Finale that gets

everyone involved in living what they’ve learned.
