Latest Boy count: 43 confirmed 3 probable 15 unknown 21 have some funds (registration or fundraising)

Latest Girl count 30 confirmed 5 probable 5 unknown 17 have some funds (registration or fundraising)

Player Costs

Player Fee - $250Fundraising goal(per player) - $150Equipment costs:

Boys - helmet – must be silver stick, pads, gloves, mouth guard

Girls - stick, goggles, mouth guard

Team provides: Coaches & staff uniform, balls, goals, referees, equipment and supplies,

nets and goals, field supplies, decals (boy’s helmets)

Budget Update

Current estimates for the season: Estimated cost this year: $32.5K Funds carried over from last year: $11K Player Fees: $12.5K Min funds to be raised this year: $9K Goal: Raise >$20K Current funds ~$14,400 (raised ~$3,400 so far)

First expenses will occur in November!Expected cost is ~$650/player

Minus Player fees: $250 Minus Individual fundraising goal: $150 Deficit: Booster fundraising of ~$250/player

Volunteers Needed

Need volunteers to coordinate fundraisers!42% of volunteer coordinators have backed

out.Coordinating is hard and time consuming.Coordinating is NECESSARY to SUCCEED!Coordinators are expected to manage every

aspect of one fundraiser. Planning, coordination, recruiting, reminding,

managing.

FBL Affiliate Policy

Positions that we MUST have (minimum): Program Director – Responsible for oversight of all

local affiliate activities (Must maintain an active USL Membership).

Chairperson – Fundraising / Concessions Chairperson – Finance Chairperson – FBL Compliance / Coordination Chairperson – Volunteer Coordination Chairperson – Program Expansion

Positions must be elected

Fundraising / Concessions

Determine the affiliates fundraising program and carry out those responsibilities to insure that adequate fundraising opportunities are offered to each player / parent to assist in meeting their financial obligations to FBL. Additionally, this committee shall be responsible for coordination of game and or other event concessions including but not limited to purchases of supplies, sales, and concession receipts.

Finance

Maintain local affiliate financial status in conjunction with the FBL Treasurer, approve local expenditures, collect and deposit local funds, and implement FBL Financial Policies and Procedures

FBL Compliance / Coordination

Responsible for obtaining, disseminating, and insurance of compliance with all FBL Policies and Procedures

Volunteer Coordination

Responsible for coordinating all volunteer requirements for fundraising, concessions, clinics, field / game requirements, etc.

Program Expansion

Responsible for in-school player recruitment, program expansion, and off season player training programs. Unless extenuating circumstances prohibit, the Head Varsity Coaches shall chair this committee.
