q A CDU is a simplified refinery and allows for distillation ofcrude into high-octane naphtha, diesel and ATB/VGO fuels.

q Crude oil from the crude oil storage tanks (EPN TK50 andTK51) will be pumped to the CDU for refining.

q Includes refinery processes such as a desalter (to reduce thesalt and metal content in the crude), but not reforming (toincrease the octane of the naphtha and convert it intogasoline) or cracking (to convert heavier residual productsinto diesel and gasoline).
