Take 30 minutes when you first get into towork to plan your day. Make sure your list is attainable. Carry a planner or notebook and scheduleyour day, making sure to include allmeetings and appointments. Tip 2: Complete the most important tasks first Make sure to prioritize your task listbased on task importance andestimated duration. Tip 5: Have a time LIMIT to complete the task Dont just sit down and get itdone. Time constraints will help youfocus and be more efficient. 17. Tip 7: Leave buffer time in between tasks Leave 15-20 minute buffer betweeneach task/ appointment to enhanceyour productivity. Take a time-out, relax and rebuildyour energy. 19. Tip 8: Schedule some uninterrupted time Plan/ dedicate time each day when you canconcentrate on important tasks, especiallyfor those that will take a longer amount oftime to complete. Shut your office door or take refuge in aconference room to avoid disruptions. Disconnect from phone and email. 20. Tip 9: Get your sleep and take time for YOU! A lack of sleep and neglect forpersonal/vacation time takes a huge tollon performance and productivity. Focus on getting 7-8 hours of sleep pernight and dont be hesitant to utilizethose vacation days you are given it willbenefit both you and your organizationin the long run.
