Grades K-8 Reporting Steps: Collect total enrollment by day for all

classrooms within the grade level from first day of school until April 15• For combination classes, the grade level

with most number of students becomes the grade level of the class for QEIA purposes

divide the sum by the total number of class days through April 15.

The result is the average class size for the class for the year.

Unique Scenarios: The school reduced class size during

2005-06 using High Priority Grant funds. As a result, QEIA CSR targets have resulted in very low QEIA CSR targets.

Unique Scenarios: The school was reconfigured in the

base year and added 6th grade. As a result, the CSR target for 6th grade is very low.

Due to the complexity of CSR requirements it is essential to: Schedule Pre-Monitoring meetings with

districts and schools to establish CSR target agreements

Provide information regarding required end of year documentation
