Step 2: Military experience - list all military titles, dates, locations, TRANSLATE MILITARY SKILLS TO CIVILIAN SKILLS

Step 3: Education - schools attended, degree, course focus

Step 4: Skills – list all software, computer, technical, mechanical, etc.

Step 5: Objective - what kind of opportunity are you looking for?

• All job boards use Keyword’s to match resumes and job searches.

• Employers posting jobs on their website use Keyword Scanning to prioritize resumes to the skills they are seeking.

• When employers post jobs on job boards, the job boards rank the percentage that resumes match their job opportunity using Keywords.

• If your resume does not include Keywords that materially match the job opening you are submitting to then your resume will not be a priority.

• The more Keywords in your resume that match the Keywords in the job posting will determine your resume priority – but don’t go overboard…stay Honest!
