• Tarjeta de video (no se recomienda usar computadoras con tarjeta de video incluida

en la tarjeta madre).

• Windows 2000 con SP4 o Windows XP con SP2 o superior.

5. INSTALACIÓN (Antes de conectar la capturadora debe instalar los controladores).

1.- Introduzca el disco de instalación en la unidad de CD-ROM.

2.- Ejecute el archivo SETUP.EXE, localizado en la carpeta “Driver” del CD de

instalación.

3.- Presione SIGUIENTE para comenzar con la instalación de los controladores y

FINALIZAR para concluir el proceso.

6. INSTALACIÓN DEL SOFTWARE

4.- Después de reiniciar la computadora, conecte la capturadora en un puerto USB. La computadora detectará la capturadora y se actualizarán los controladores. Enseguida estará lista para usarse.

5.- Para comprobar que el equipo se instaló correctamente, abra Panel de Control > Sistema > Hardware > Administrador de dispositivos y revise que el driver USB 2820 Device esté en la lista.

1.- Ejecute el archivo SETUP.EXE de la carpeta “AP Software”. Presione NEXT para comenzar la instalación y FINISH para concluir el proceso.

8. USAR LA CAPTURADORA POR PRIMERA VEZ 1.- Dé doble clic en el ícono de 4eyeGrab para que aparezca la siguiente pantalla:

- El rojo indica que una función se está ejecutando, el verde que puede ser ejecutada

y el blanco que en ese momento no se puede ejecutar.

- Para grabar seleccione una cámara en el panel RECORDER. El mensaje Recording

aparecerá debajo del nombre de la cámara y comenzará la grabación. Para detenerla

vuelva a dar clic en la cámara elegida.

9. FUNCIONES DISPLAY

Camera I - Camera IV

Muestra la imagen de cada una de las cámaras conectadas de forma individual.

Camera All

Muestra las imágenes de las cámaras conectadas de forma simultánea.

Sequence

Muestra las imágenes de las cámaras conectadas de forma secuencial (el tiempo de

la secuencia puede programarse en la opción Ajustes de cámara).

Si da clic derecho sobre la imagen de alguna cámara se desplegará este submenú:

Display Permite ver la imagen de una o todas las cámaras conectadas al mismo tiempo.

Recorder Permite grabar con una o todas las cámaras conectadas al mismo tiempo.

AboutMuestra la versión actual del software.

ExitCierra el programa de grabación.

Always on top Mantiene el programa en primer plano, encima de las demás aplicaciones.

La velocidad de los cuadros por segundo disminuye cuando se visualizan las 4 cámaras al mismo tiempo. Si requiere una grabación en tiempo real, se recomienda

utilizar solo una cámara en pantalla completa.

10. RECORDER (Grabación)

Camera I - Camera IV Permite grabar con cada una de las cámaras conectadas de forma individual.

Camera All Permite grabar con todas las cámaras conectadas de forma simultánea. (Las grabaciones se guardarán en 4 archivos diferentes).

Sequence Permite grabar la imagen de las cuatro cámaras en un sólo archivo.

Las grabaciones se guardan como YYMMDD_hhmmss.avi, donde YY = Año, MM = Mes, DD = Día, hh = hora, mm = minutos y ss = segundos.

FullScreen (Pantalla completa) Muestra un mosaico con las imágenes de las cuatro cámaras en pantalla completa. Para salir de este modo, dé doble clic en la pantalla.

SnapShot (Imagen fija)Captura una imagen fija de la (s) cámara (s) que esté (n) activa (s). Las imágenes se mostrarán en una ventana aparte. Al dar clic derecho sobre una se desplegará este submenú:

Save Guardar la imagen capturada en el disco duro.

Delete Borra la imagen capturada.

Preview Muestra la imagen capturada.

Print Imprime la imagen capturada.

Las imágenes se guardan como YYMMDD-hhmmss.avi , donde YY = Año, MM = Mes, DD = Día, hh = hora, mm = minutos y ss = segundos.

11. PLAYBACK (Reproducción)

Reproduce los archivos guardados.

Para localizar un archivo de grabación previamente guardado utilice la herramienta de búsqueda (Search option). Seleccione la cámara con la que hizo la grabación y presione Find. Se mostrará una lista con las grabaciones guardadas.

Si conoce la hora y fecha exactas de la grabación puede especificarlas en los recuadros. Si no está seguro puede determinar un periodo de tiempo más largo, con horas o días de inicio y término de la grabación.

12. CONTROLES DE REPRODUCCIÓN - Reproducir

Reproduce el archivo seleccionado.

- Pausa

Pausa la reproducción.

- Detener

Detiene la reproducción.

- Lento 1/2x, 1/3x, 1/4x

Disminuye la velocidad de reproducción.

- Rápido 2x, 3x, 4x

Incrementa la velocidad de reproducción.

- Regresar 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x

Regresa a un momento específico del video a diferentes velocidades (4x es

la más rápida).

- Imagen Fija Captura el cuadro actual del video que se está reproduciendo. Las imágenes se guardarán con el formato YYMMDD-hhmmss.avi.

- Información de archivo Muestra la duración y hora de inicio y final de la grabación.

- Búsqueda rápida Debe especificar la fecha de la grabación antes de presionar el botón de Búsqueda.

Presione para volver a la pantalla principal del programa.

13. MOTION DECT (Detección de movimiento)Activa la función de grabación automática al detectar movimiento. La cámara se detendrá después de 5 segundos sin que se registre movimiento.

14. CAMERA SETTING (Ajustes de cámara)

- B/W / ColorMuestra la imagen de las cámaras en blanco y negro o a color (en caso de que la cámara utilizada sea a color).

- Ajuste del tiempo de secuenciaControla el tiempo que transcurre entre la visualización de una y otra cámara en modo de secuencia.

- Ajuste de velocidad de la cámaraControla la velocidad de grabación (depende de la velocidad de su CPU y de la tarjeta de video).

- OSD Asigna un nombre a una cámara. Seleccione una e introduzca el nombre en el campo de la parte inferior.

- Ajustes de color Se puede ajustar el brillo, contraste, tinte, saturación y nitidez de todas las cámaras. Si presiona Default, se restablecerán los parámetros de fábrica. Presione OK para guardar los cambios o Cancel para anularlos.

Puede activar la función de grabación automática al detectar movimiento en una sola cámara o en las cuatro.

Detector Sense Mode (Sensibilidad de detección) Controla el nivel de sensibilidad para activar la grabación. Existen tres niveles: Low (Bajo), Middle (Medio) y High (Alto).

Detecting Action (Acción de detección) Selecciona la acción a realizar después de detectar movimiento. Puede elegir entre grabar (Record) o reproducir una alarma (Alarm). Presione OK para guardar los cambios o Cancel para anularlos.

15. MOTION DETECTOR SETTING (Ajustes del detector de movimiento)

En la opción Audio podrá elegir alguna cámara para que también grabe los sonidos. (Esta opción sólo está disponible para una cámara a la vez).

Time stamp (Impresión de la hora) Activa o desactiva la visualización de la hora durante la grabación.

Frame Rates (Velocidad de video) Controla la velocidad de cada una de las cámaras.

16. RECORD SETTING (Ajuste de grabación)

Record Dir And Mode (Modo de grabación)

La opción Linear graba de forma continua hasta que el disco duro solo tenga 30Mb de espacio libre. La opción Circular también graba de forma continua, pero comienza a regrabar desde el principio cuando el disco se llena.

También puede cambiar el lugar donde se almacenan las grabaciones presionando

Presione OK para guardar los cambios o Cancel para anularlos.

17. SCHEDULE RECORD SETTING (Grabación programada)

Puede programar una o las cuatro cámaras para comenzar a grabar en una fecha y hora específicas.

Time Set Elija la(s) cámara(s) e introduzca la fecha y hora de inicio, así como la fecha y hora de término. Presione OK para guardar los cambios o Cancel para anularlos.

18. PROBLEMAS Y SOLUCIONES PROBLEMA SOLUCIÓN

- Mi sistema no detecta el equipo

- Asegúrese de que el puerto USB sea 2.0.

- Si tiene Wndows XP, asegúrese de que tiene el

SP1 o uno superior.

- Cuando conecto el equipo aparece el mensaje

“Este equipo podría funcionar mejor en un puerto

de alta velocidad”

- Asegúrese de que el puerto USB sea 2.0.

- Pérdida de cuadros durante la captura de video

- Cierre todas las aplicaciones que no esté

usando y evite ejecutar otros programas durante

la grabación.

- Defragmente y libere espacio en su disco duro.

- Utilice un disco duro con más de 7200

revoluciones por minuto.

- El sistema se bloquea al comenzar la grabación

- Asegúrese de que tiene instalado DirectX 9.0.

- Actualice el controlador de su tarjeta de

video.

- Cierre todas las aplicaciones que no esté

usando y evite ejecutar otros programas durante

la grabación.

1.- Insert the installation disk into the CD-ROM drive.

2.- Run the SETUPfile.EXE, located in the folder ‘’Driver’’ of the installation CD.

6. INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE

4.- The computer will detect the capture and updated drivers. Is immediately ready

for use.

5.- To verify that the team was installed correctly, open Control Panel > system >

Hardware > Device Manager and check that the USB 2820 driver Device is in the list.

8. USING THE CAPTURE DEVICE FOR THE FIRST TIME1.- Double click on 4eyeGrab icon to bring up the following screen:

- The red color indicates that a function is running, the green means that can be

executed and white at that time could not be implemented.

- To record, select a camera in the RECORDER panel. The Recording message

will appear under the camera name and start recording. To stop it again click on the

chosen camera.

If you right click on any camera image, this submenu will be displayed:

The frames per second speed decreases when the 4 cameras are displayed at the same time. If you require a real time recording, we recommend using only a camera

in full screen.

10. RECORDER

I Camera - IV Camera It allows to record with each of the connected cameras individually.

All CameraIt allows to record all connected cameras simultaneously. (Recordings are saved in 4 different files).

Sequence Allows to record the image of the four cameras in a single file.

The recordings are saved as YYMMDD_hhmmss.avi, where YY = year, MM = month, DD = day, hh = hour, mm = minute and ss = seconds.

FullScreen Displays a mosaic with the images of the four cameras in full screen. To exit this mode, double click on the screen.

SnapShot Captures a still image of the camera(s) that is (are) active. The images will be shown in a different window. This submenu will be displayed when there is a right click on any of them:

Save Save the captured image on the hard disk.

Delete Delete the captured image.

Preview Displays the captured image.

Print Print the captured image.

The images are saved asYYMMDD hhmmss.AVI[ESSDC1] , where YY = year, MM = month, DD = day, hh = hour, mm = minute and ss = second.

Play the saved files.

To locate a previously saved file use the search tool. Select the camera that made the

recording and press Find. A list with the saved recordings will be displayed.

If you know the time and date exacts of the recording you can specify them in the

boxes. If you are not sure you can determine a longer period, with hours or days of

beginning and end of the recording.

12. PLAYBACK CONTROLS - Play

Play the selected file.

- Pause

Pause the playback.

- Stop

Stops playback.

- Slow 1/2x, 1/3x, 1/4x

Decreases the playback speed.

- Fast 2x, 3x, 4x

It increases the speed of reproduction.

- Return 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x

Return to a specific point in the video at different speeds (4 x is the fastest).

- Fixed image Capture the current image of the video that is being played. The images will be saved in the format YYMMDDhhmmss.AVI.

- File information Displays the duration and start time and end of the recording.

- Quick search You must specify the recording date before pressing the search button.

Press to return to the program main screen.

13. DECT MOTION Activates the automatic motion detection recording function. The camera will stop recording after 5 seconds without register movement.

- OSD Assign a name to a camera. Select one and enter the name in the field at the bottom.

- Color adjustments You can adjust the brightness, contrast, hue, saturation and sharpness of all cameras. If you click Default, the default settings will be restored. Click OK to save the changes or Cancel to cancel them.

You can activate automatic recording function to detect movement in a single camera or four.

Alarm Sense Mode Controls the sensitivity level to activate recording. There are three levels: Low, Middle and High.

Detecting Action Select the action to perform after detecting movement. You can choose to record (Record) or play an alarm (Alarm). Click OK to save the changes or Cancel to not change.

In the Audio option, you can choose any camera that also record sounds. (This option only is available for a camera at the same time).

Time stamp Enable or disable the time display during the recording.

Frame Rates Control the speed of each of the cameras.

The option Linear records continuously until the hard drive only has 30 Mb of free space. The Circular option also recorded continuously, but begins to re-record from the beginning when the disk is full.

You can also change the place where are the recordings stored.

Click OK to save the changes or Cancel to cancel them.

17. SCHEDULE RECORD SETTING

You can schedule up to four cameras to start recording at a specific date and time.

Time Set Chooses the camera (s) and enter the date and start time, as well as the date and hour of term. Press OK to save the changes or Cancel to cancel them.

18. TROUBLESHOOTING TROUBLE SOLUTION

- My system does not detect the device

- Make sure that the USB is 2.0.

- If you have Windows XP, make sure that you

have SP1 or higher

- When I connect the equipment appears the

message “this ddevice might work better in a high

speed port”
