The transitional labour market:
After Günther Schmid, 1999
Methodology:•Analysis of statistical indicators, especially the ones related to population transition, focusing on labour market and migration in the case study region •Qualitative survey: 12 interviews type life-story; purpose of interviews: to cover a large spectrum of situations in which transition/job changes occurred and to identify the role of formal and informal networks in finding a job; it is assumed that in a isolated region, being it island or remote, the local informal networks play a crucial role in identifying niches on the local labour market; it is also interesting to see how alternative means of subsistence were used (unemployment, education etc). •Questionnaire survey on companies: 20/30 questionnaires addressed to specific types of enterprises; •Reporting: based on a given structure, the each caste study region labour markets is portrayed
