+HOW YOU CAN HELP!

Encourage your children to discuss their learning, what they have enjoyed or found challenging.

Listen to your child read daily and ask them to spot or identify the curriculum relevant vocabulary or punctuation.

Encourage them to discuss the alternative graphemes and exception words.

If you have the time, and your child is willing, practise spellings as part of sentence dictation, using the words in context.

If you have a question please talk us so that we can work in partnership to support your child’s learning.
