2017 will be the fifth year that Westmoreland Walks, Inc. will encourage businesses and individuals throughout the county to “Get Their PINK On!” The response has been better than we ever could have imagined. From the courthouse dome to the tiniest PINK bow, PINK “popped up” everywhere. There are still many areas in the county, though, that haven’t gotten PINK fever. Help raise awareness by decorating your home, school or business PINK from October 1 through 31 to show support for breast cancer survivors. Let’s have a PINK EXPLOSION over the entire county!!

— WHERE DOES OUR —MONEY GO?

This scholarship, given through the Community Foundation of Westmoreland County, has been established to provide financial

support to a graduating senior in Westmoreland County

whose life and/or family has been impacted by breast cancer.

Congratulations to Spencer Hepler, our 2017 Scholarship winner. The Pink Ribbon Scholarship is funded through the SereniTea & designated donations.

In 2013, the Pink Angel Fund was established to financially help survivors in treatment. We have helped by paying for groceries, rent, car payments, lymphedema sleeves and more. This is another way we help breast cancer patients in Westmoreland County.

While most proceeds are donated to the PBCC, this Walk also provides an opportunity for Westmoreland County women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer to enjoy a full day of spa services, educational lectures, relaxation & fun!

The next Spa Serenity Day will occur in the spring of 2018. For your candidate to be considered for Spa Serenity Day, please call 724-441-4130 for information or visit our website. Selected attendees will be notified mid-April.
