The Courage to Win in Money

Could Your Body Hold the Magic Key?

What’s it like to heal survival fear without even trying? Today, you’ll discover the secret weapon – the magic key -- to healing survival fear without direct effort. The magic key is your body. Your body has a magical healing power that transcends thought, effort, and hard work. In the silence of awareness, your body can heal you of illness, without any effort. It can also heal you of survival fear that is not serving you. This is the wisdom our fear has to offer us. Yet, sometimes we create a (darker) element to our fear that does not help us at all. This is fear created by the imagination. Without even realizing it, we unconsciously exaggerate our survival fear, buying into the idea that we will not be able to survive. We mentally reinforce this false notion, panicking ourselves for no good reason. Example: You watch the news and hear that thousands of people in the auto industry have been laid off. Your chest tightens and you starting worrying about money, even through you’re an oil and gas lawyer. While it’s perfectly natural to be concerned, full blown panic is not in proportion to what’s going on. When your fear has nothing to teach you, and is simply created by your imagination, your body can easily heal it. Here are two simple steps to activating this magical healing energy:

1. Decide to Heal Self-Created Fear

The self-created element of our fear that is so automatic and unconscious we don’t realize it’s self-created. We’re convinced it’s legitimate. I learned this years ago when I visited a hypnotherapist to treat my fear of flying. I gave him a long list of reasons why flying was dangerous. “You can see why I’m so terrified to get on a plane,” I said. He paused, then said quietly: “Nervous, yes. Terrified, no.” Then he added, “If you love yourself, you’ll stop punishing yourself by escalating this fear in your mind.” I thought about his statement for a long time. No matter what element of your survival fear is self-created, you can recognize it now using the exercise below.

What have you been telling yourself about money that is counter-productive? How have you been selling yourself short? Are you unnecessarily cheap? Ignore money altogether? Do you become overly pessimistic about your earnings for no reason? Record your ideas below. __________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________ From now on, I want you to stop punishing yourself by creating unnecessary survival fear. If you are in the middle of a financial crisis or are deeply in debt, use your fear to keep your wits about you, but refuse to escalate it. Your body will take it from here.

2. Replenish Your Root Chakra with Courage

You can heal unnecessary, self-created survival fear using the chakras. The chakras, one of the body’s eight energy systems, are centers of swirling energy in the body. An imprint of every emotionally charged event in your life is recorded in your chakra energy. To heal survival fear, you focus on emboldening your root chakra. Note: there are seven chakras, but I am only going to focus on the first four.

Your RRRRoot Coot Coot Coot Chakrahakrahakrahakra is your life force chakra and governs survival fear as well as abundance. Positive emotionsPositive emotionsPositive emotionsPositive emotions associated with the root chakra include groundedness, primordial energy, abundance, affiliation with the human tribe, and sexual attraction. Negative emotionsNegative emotionsNegative emotionsNegative emotions associated with the root chakra: survival fear, money worries, hostility, and aggression. When your survival fear is off the charts, chances are your root chakra is under duress and has been cut off from your other chakras. You can replenish your root chakra with courage by channeling energy to it from one of your other, stronger chakras. For example, one of my clients is extremely creative person with powerful healing energy. He has a potent womb chakra, but a weak root chakra because he was born under traumatic circumstances (his twin died at birth). Whenever his business gets stressful, he directs courage from his womb chakra to his root chakra, easing his survival fear. Read through the following chakras. Which one are you particularly strong in? This chakra can help strengthen your root chakra right now. How to Connect Two Chakras

Hold your root chakra with one hand while holding one of the womb, solar plexus, or heart chakra at the same time. Relax and breathe easily and slowly. Hold both chakras for at least 10-20 minutes. Open yourself to whatever images or feelings present themselves to you. Enjoy this exercise, and I’ll to you again soon. Your friend,
