Entrepreneurial History
Not a Web Designer, not a Software Developer, not a another marketing company but an Entrepreneur from Heart
Markets demand excessively for an One-Stop Solution and Corporates fail to meet them
At such circumstances, Shekhar Chatterjee started on with his first company “Host Dude”. The basic idea was to get your Facebook profile picture edited for free along with Free Hosting Service for the Photograph.
Entrepreneurial History
The Only way “Host Dude” made revenues was through Advertisements along with compulsory Share before downloading the photograph drove more visitors to the website and restricted bots to crawl the pictures to Google Images.
At mid of 2012, Chatterjee decided to move on with the revenues earned from “Host Dude”. He started on with a different sort of Web Hosting, no not another Big Rock or GoDaddy. Host Dude had a free website hosting plan that would help start-ups to host their website for free and could be upgraded to a paid package on high visitors turnout.
Entrepreneurial History
This crazy idea gave a boost to his customer database that had the most chances of getting paid service from his website. Starting from Indian Servers, today Host Dude Solutions has servers in USA, UK, India, Singapore, Turkey and hosts more than 700 websites yearly.
Starting with 35 Domain TLDs, Web Hosting, today Host Dude offers more than 1200 TLDs and 9 different kinds of Web Hosting to all over the world.
Life History
Shekhar was born in Kolkata and raised in Vadodara, Gujarat He considers Narendra Modi as his Inspiration and Steve Jobs
as his Leader Chatterjee currently is an Student of Delhi Public School
Vadodara Scored 93% in E-Commerce Associate and 89% in Web
Publisher Exam by Cambridge University London at the age of 15 years
Developed first website called Hum Tum Comics at the age of 7 years
Scored 91.2% in Class 10th CBSE Board Exams. He also likes mixing songs and being a DJ in his spare time
Future Plans
Chatterjee does not wishes to make the next big corporate known for profits and turnovers instead he admires to be the next biggest employer in the private sector of our country.
He says “There is a lot of gold yet to mine, diamonds yet to polish. I will surely do it”
In upcoming years as a part of expansion, Chatterjee will be looking forward to hire the talented and creative youth of the country
