POETRY PROJECT

*DAY 1: HAIKU
*Nature is all around you. Haiku poetry is nature-based. The poem is written about a natural topic (ants, grass, wind, the ocean, etc.)
*EXAMPLES!
*Day 2: Cinquain Poems
*“Cin” means 5 (think-Spanish –CINCO)
*5 lines
Line 1-choose a noun
Line 2-two words to describe your noun
Line 3-three verbs showing actions
Line 4-a four word phrase (feelings)
Line 5- a synonym for your noun
*EXAMPLES--
