Yield Factor Formula

• The four-year enrollment change in a district divided by the total number of new home building permits during the same 4 year period.

For the years 2000-2004:

• LTMS, MTMS & MCMS’s enrollment went up 154 students.

• The city of DeSoto, Lenexa, and Shawnee issued 500 new home building permits.

Yield Factor = 154 = .308
