PROJECT DESCRIPTIONCIM's mission is to provide timely, high-quality customer information to all E*TRADE lines of business in an accessible, transparent, secure and efficient process. Our vision is to democratize information by creating a centralized information layer accessible across the firm, towards a better and stronger E*TRADE. Primary responsibility of the team is Data Analytics support by keeping tabs on our customer base, analyzing and translating related data into actionable information. Additional responsibilities include supporting all lines of business in tracking relevant customer metrics (a.k.a “reporting” needs).

The team specializes in delivering ad-hoc, daily, weekly, Monthly and Quarterly/Annual reports for their critical Business Analytical purpose, with thorough knowledge of the Data and the warehouse and the business behind it. Provide critical decision making reports and support. Redesign/enhance track deliverables developed based on the data points for greater insights, delivery performance, and project throughput. This project has a constraint of limited Database time, as the production batch starts early, hence it benefits a great deal of understanding, analysis, coding and testing skills in a short span of time.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE PROJECT Requirement gathering and Analysis of requests based on their complexity. Work with clients in understanding their processes and performed wide variety of analysis (anomaly Detection, rule-based analysis) on their business activity by collecting relevant financial record to ensured compliance with U.S. laws. Organized dashboards in Tableau to analyze the revenue, expense over various attributes of employee, project, time and location dimension. Prepare and validate end to end business logic and mappings related to Business requests and demands. Created ad-hoc reports to users in Tableau by connecting various data sources. Partnered with IT personnel to establish a data repository to standardize and consolidate information across various organizations and servicing platforms through Business Objects Knowledge on SAS BASE and SAS SQL for querying and data extraction, cleansing, reporting etc. Generating complex SQL queries to extract data from the warehouse. Preparation of standard test cases to expedite testing processes and Perform Unit testing of the generated reports through Querying. Automation and validation of reports through Business Objects, Crystal reports and Windows Scheduler. Automation of reports through dynamic use of SQL DATE functions and Tuning of SQL queries to minimize query cost and save DB usage time. Preparation of Request Check List, a standard document having critical steps in handling and delivering a request effectively with zero errors. Establishing relevance of reports generated with that of the similar reports generated earlier for reusability. Defect tracking of the reports and Maintaining of code repository or new code generated for easy availability. Knowledge Management and mentoring the new joiners and Involved in Project Management

activities. Foster innovation in team by implementing new ideas to reduce costs, time and increase

efficiency.

Automation of numerous reports which needed manual run on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis through effective and dynamic use of inbuilt SQL-DATE functions and BI tools. I was a special mention during client visit, for my ability to work smart and fast with accuracy. Received EIM TECH -Oscar award ‘EKALAVYA’ for Q3 2014 and Extramile award for Q3 2015 from Cognizant. Played an active role in fostering Innovation and Knowledge development and has contributed towards many innovations, enhancements and automations right after joining as a fresher in my first project.
