Myths were a big part of Ancient Greece.
Many of the stories were about Gods/Goddesses/heroes with special powers.
Perseus was a Greek hero who killed Medusa. She had a head of snakes and could turn a person to stone by looking at them.
Apollo was a god or many things. His most important job was to make the sun rise each new day.
