WEEK BY WEEK:

This calendar shows the week that an assessment item is due, NOT the actual day/date.

Final specific due dates will be confirmed by the subject teacher by the monday of the week before the assessment is due. This will be communicated verbally in class, as well as by email &/or Connect.

Teachers will also prompt students to enter important assessment dates on the digital calendar (eg- Google Calendar).

Parents are encouraged to check laptop calendars and even set reminders for important assessment dates.

CLASSWORK VS HOMEWORK:

The first number represents the % of the work that will be completed in class for an assignment.

The second number represents the % of the work that will be need to be completed at home.

100/0 = Entire task completed in class. 80/20 = 80% of task completed in-class, 20% completed at home.

It is assumed that exams/tests will require revision to be completed at home. The amount of revision may vary depending on the subject, therefore no % breakdown is given (NA = Not Applicable).

HANDOUT & FINAL DUE DATE: Assignments have listed a handout date and a final due date, so you can work out how long a student has to complete an assessment item. The astrix (*) beside a week number indicates that a public holiday (or pupil free day) exists within that week.
