Science Plants: Structure of a flowering plant -Find out about the structure of a flower and the role of each part. Leaf, Stem, Seed, Flower, Root, Growing tip, Bud and Petal Draw a diagram to show each part. Write an explanation of the function of each part

Guided Reading

Speed read: read for 2minutes. Summarise (verbally or written) what you have just read. Now read the same section again for 2 minutes- did you get any further? Are there any words you are unsure of? If so, find out what they mean. Now read the same section again for 2 minutes-make sure you read with accuracy, fluency, expression and intonation and use the punctuation correctly e.g pause at a full stop. Repeat this process for the next section of your book. Repeat one last time for the next section of your book.
