Guided Reading
Speed read: read for 2minutes. Summarise (verbally or written) what you have just read. Now read the same section again for 2 minutes- did you get any further? Are there any words you are unsure of? If so, find out what they mean. Now read the same section again for 2 minutes-make sure you read with accuracy, fluency, expression and intonation and use the punctuation correctly e.g pause at a full stop. Repeat this process for the next section of your book. Repeat one last time for the next section of your book.
