WAGOLL
Dear……. What will have changed when you read this letter?
Dear Future Me, When you read this letter, school will be open, we will be able to see family and friends. We will be able to go on holiday again. Less people will be getting sick.
How did you feel when school was closed? Have your feelings changed at all?
What did you miss during lock-down?
What 3 things were you most look-ing forward to when lockdown was over?
You felt excited because it was like you were on holiday! Then you were sad because you missed your friends. You missed going to grandparents and seeing your cousins, having ice cream in the park, going to the seaside, going to school, going to the shops. Going to your friend’s house for tea. Giving grandparents a big cuddle. Going to the park.
Was there anything you enjoyed doing during lockdown?
How did you spend your time?
Although lockdown could be boring, you also had lots of fun. You liked family walks, building tipis in the woods, spotting lots of wildlife and doing lots of baking at home.
Did lockdown bring any benefits for the world?
Pollution levels dropped. Less cars on the road. People were friendly to their neighbours. People were kinder to each other. They clapped for the NHS.
Over to you-
Dear……. What might have changed when you read this letter?

Monday Guided Reading - Comprehension
Monday: History- The Stone Age
All the way back in November, we were learning about the Stone Age. This task is to see how much you can remember!
There is a list of some Stone Age facts and fiction, but can you work out which box they go in?
